If I could afford to I'd be in this shop every week and I'd be the cleanest person alive. I adore…read morelush! For a start, when you aproach the shop you KNOW it's there you can smell it, and it smells divine! Get in there and your senses are almost assulted with all the wonderful different scents of their products. If you don't already know the shop, then OMG you don't know what you are missing. Lush sells bath bombs, soaps, and other body products, but these aren't like the cheap chemical ones you get in boots and places like that, these are scented with essential oils and full of lovely things like cocoa butter and some of them really do smell good enough that you want to have a nibble. Not sure what you want? Find a couple of things to buy and when your paying, just ask them if you can get a sample or two of a few other bits and pieces to try. Any broken things that they get, they put aside for just this purpose so you can take things away to give them a go. Allergic to certain things? - Here that is not a problem, they've got all the ingredients listed and you can have a look and talk to them and they'll help you find things that are suitable - they do for me and I'm allergic to caffeine and anything containing caffeine so chocolate, coffee etc. Definately one of my favourite shops in the whole world - I could easily spend a fortune in there actually come to think of it, I probably already did!

I am a lover of Lush totally and I was very excited when I found one had opened up remotely near me…read moreso at the first opportunity I popped over there to have a look. I was left very disappointed. I had gone armed with a list of everything I wanted, and found 2 of them. Usually the staff are very helpful and would be happy to find the products for me if they were not out, however this was not the case in this store. I felt like I had wasted a journey and will stick to my covent Garden shop in the future.

Benefit do brows as good as they do makeup. I don't have much call to visit these guys often (with being based in Birmingham, and all) but when I do need my brows sorting and I'm back in the Keynes, these are my go to guys. The staff are helpful, polite and friendly and best of all... They know what they're doing.

I held off on taming my brows for a solid 6 weeks due to fear of something going awry and the possibility of looking like someone hacked off my eyebrows. I took a deep breath and decided to go to the Benefit Brow Bar in Boots, as recommended by my husband's cousin. I can't say enough great things about the experience. First off, I had stopped waxing my eyebrows about 8 years ago and had been exclusively threading them due to how harsh the wax is on my sensitive skin. I would always break out post-eyebrow wax and have these gross bumps for 2-3 days. This wax was PAINLESS. It was literally the most mild feeling and it didn't even leave me all red and irritated afterwards. She did a nice clean up as requested and gave me a little more shape without thinning out my eyebrows. Overall I was really pleased with my waxing experience and for £12.50 I think it was quite worth it. Just make sure you don't walk in expecting to be seen right away like I did and have to come back the next day with an appointment!
