Whenever I am on Long Island, I budget extra time to bring my baby, um- my car, in for some pampering. The staff is quick and efficient, and the service is unbeatable. They clean everything! A reasonably-priced basic wash includes vacuuming, windows cleaned inside and out, dash and console are wiped down, and door & truck sills are dried. For another couple of bucks, you can have the trunk vaccumed or the tires shined...there is a menu of a la carte services to choose from. They even take the extra second or 2 to hook the floor mats, rather than just tossing them back on the floor...a pet peeve of mine that other car washes do. On my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised to see they use an air gun to dry the hard to reach places like behind the side view mirrors...ingenious! No more drops when you drive away:-) The owner is a nice guy and very meticulous about the care each car receives. He carefully checks over each and every vehicle before it leaves the lot. He obviously loves what he does and cares about the service his customers receive...and it shows. Plan to be here for at least 15 minutes if it's not crowded, longer if there is a line. It's worth it. You will not be disappointed, and your car will look new inside and out :-)

And I will always find an excuse not to go. Sigh. Okay so I got very comfortable going to the basic "gas station car wash" but the other cars I had always looked very dingey and with paint swirls after. So being that I have a new vehicle I decided to try hand wash in the hopes that would help keep the paint on the automobile fresh. I was very pleased with the work that was done here at Miracle My mini suv is still sparkling like it just rolled off the showroom ! My uncle recommended this particular car wash because they have coupons in the LI Clipper magazine. He raved about the job they did for a very affordable price. My car was filthy and I just couldn't bear it anymore. I drove there on a hot Sunday afternoon after Long Beach day for a washing (coupon-less.) Line was pretty long, the machine wash went fast. I paid $14.99 for a full wash inside and out. Not bad. As I stood outside waiting for my car to come out so fresh and so clean, I noticed how hard the employees were working. Making sure they wicked away most of the water droplets, made those windows sparkle, even dusted off the dash. I must say I waited a long time outside waiting for the car to be done by the hardworking guys. I was super happy with the job done. I felt like I just hopped into a brand new car! (Until the birds where I work pooped all over it! lol) Please tip. There is a tip box out in the front. They work hard! Their arms must kill at the end of the day. Great job. On my most recent visit, the experience completely changed. The staff seemed more interested in rushing people out before closing than actually delivering the service we're paying for, and the attitude toward customers made that very clear. I was even told I couldn't use the vacuums after my wash, despite being a current monthly subscriber. I canceled my membership on the spot and won't be returning. If you're going to sell subscriptions and promote "unlimited" service, you can't pull the plug on basic benefits just because it's inconvenient for staff at the end of the day especially when those customers are the ones who've supported you since day one.
