On August 30th - I asked if they would move this week because my yard had not been mowed since the first service. I had signed up for weekly service. I was told yes. On Tuesday - the 4th - I asked again. I was told they would be out in the next few days. On Friday - I said I really, really needed my yard mowed. I understand we have had a lot of rain - but the yard services for my neighbors have all been completed. By Saturday - my yard is now horrible. I was told that I had been called by one of his employees and told him everything was ok... I did not speak to anyone. Someone representing themselves as a competitor did call to offer to mow for a higher price - turns out this was his employee. At the end - I was told to find another service. Today - I will be mowing with my reel mower and finding a new service.

On three occasions, we made appointments with Eugene, the owner of the company, and all three times he stood us up. I get it, the guy is so "GOOD" that everyone is hiring him and he has no time for new projects. We live in Denton. The third time we made the appointment, I asked him if he was interested in our project or should we look for someone else. When I finally heard back from him, he asked us to give him another chance and assured us that he was going to honor his word. After three times of waiting for him to show and he never called to reschedule or explain himself, we decided to move on. Lesson learned! You cannot always trust the reviews and comments people are leaving. Because what is too good to be true... is NOT true. In retrospect, I am glad that it happened at this point rather than after he started the work and leaving us hanging.

When our home was built (on spec), the builder didn't do anything to ensure that the drainage (from the downspouts) was routed appropriately. Our home has a courtyard in the front, and the majority of rainwater was dumped right into the courtyard, where it ran down and across our front yard. Two other downspouts drained across the front yard as well, and the results was erosion that prevented grass from growing. I had trouble finding a contractor who specialized in this kind of work--most focus on sprinklers, gutters, or foundation work. I needed someone to bury these drain lines, including cutting the concrete in the courtyard to get the lines underground. Owens took care of all of it, including running one drain line under a sidewalk without cutting it. All of the work was done professionally, and there was no uncharge for unexpected problems, like the concrete being much thicker than expected, requiring jackhammering to get through it all. Brandon listened to what I want, and didn't try to talk me into shortcuts or options I wasn't interested in. It was an excellent experience, and Brandon offered expertise in other areas (like sod) as well. The guy is VERY busy. I'd suggest being patient, it's worth it. Great work at a fair price.

Planted in December; most plants did not survive into Spring. Their warranty is worthless as it barely covers 3 months. 3. Paid hundreds to remove lawn grass in new flowerbed using their recommended machinery. Worthless as the flowerbed has more grass than where this was not done. 4. Border edging done in unprofessional manner. It was crooked and tie-down spikes installed on outside instead of instead of flowerbed. 4. Spent thousands of dollars and has to now be redone.
