Given my love of photography, my wife put me in charge of finding the perfect photographer for our wedding. We interviewed A LOT of respectable photographers along the Gulf Coast and reviewed just about everyone's portfolio in detail. I could not have been happier with our decision. Tammy and Jason have this down to a true art. Tammy has a lot of fun with the babies and making them smile while Jason is scanning the group to make sure people are visible and in flattering positions. They do it so seamlessly. Our formal portraits were a blast! They are so engaging and fun for all three events they did for us. You can tell this is not just a job for them, but they live and love this life. Their equipment is also top notch. Between the cameras (and backup cameras), the lighting, and their comm system they will not only take great pictures, but help you and the coordinator to make sure your wedding is PERFECT. Their price is very fair. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best. When your wedding is over and you are sharing stories with your growing family, the photos is what you will have. Honest to goodness some of the photos we got back could be covers to wedding magazines. I can't wait to use them again for our baby pictures when the time comes. Her prices are high, her service is shit, only half of the photos were usable and the other half were missing some really major moments- not a single bridal or groom solo!!! Arrived 30 minutes late to the reception and the entrace included fireworks and she said "someone should have told me"- I told you by telling you what time to arrive like WHAT?? Zero outreach, communication was always from me, she canceled our engagement photo session after we had already booked tickets and hotels and scheduled all of our other wedding appointments around since we were flying in from California- zero attempts to reschedule, zero apologies, zero engagement photos for the wedding. I mean there was no lack of trying to blame everything on us- we are across the country! Every single shot her second shooter took had to be tossed. They were so embarrassing and beyond amateur. You will see her best work on her site so I will add some of the ones she doesn't show you later on if I can bring myself to. The few pictures we got from Lacey that we liked were great! But there was so many mis-steps, the worst communication and just a terrible overall experience. Please do not hesitate to contact me I could go on and on but every time I think about this experience it truly upsets me to the extent that we still have never printed a wedding book because we don't have enough photos to fill in the story- not a single food photo, no photos of our lovely center pieces, no bridesmaids dresses, we arranged a lovely gift bag for all the guests I wanted photographed but the shitty second shooter got her hands on those so total moot, she was also in charge of the groom/groomsman getting ready so no suit photos.... take my word for it there are sooooooo many great photographers out there and I thought I had done my due diligence so when I had red flags I kept ignoring them but I should have canceled her the moment she nonchalantly canceled out engagement shoot.

I had to ask my friend at her wedding as to who the photographer was behind all these beautiful pictures because I was just beyond in love with what I saw. Lacey is amazing at what she does. If I could describe her photo style in few words, following words would come up to my mind; Candid, Natural, Just literally pretty and pure at its finest. Her style is not what you usually observe from other photographers who do portraits. She has a very artistic approach to her work, which I loved. I honestly had a horrible day on the shoot day; the lady who was in charge of my styling took forever and sadly I arrived at the meet up location late. As a person who takes punctuality very seriously, I felt extremely bad so I did what I could do at least at the moment - Keeping Lacey updated via text. It was such a relief from my end that Lacey was so cool about it; it was very professional and understanding gesture of her. Due to this styling disaster and punctuality issue, I had an anxiety attack that day yet Lacey's suggestion and guidance made me feel a lot better. By the end of the shoot, I was back to normal (haha). I was indeed scared when I received the email from her saying that the photos were ready because I thought it was gonna be a disaster but hey! the final products were surprisingly pretty! And I give all the credit to Lacey so thank you so so so much. For those of who are scared of the shoot because you have never done it before, book with Lacey!
