For the last 4 months, since the beginning of the summer, we've been given the runaround. Unfortunately these guys are the only company in town that is willing to work with a warranty company, or so they say. They gladly charged me $115 (the warranty rate) to come and look at my (obviously broken) home A/C unit, and in the end it needed a full replacement. Alright! I handed the warranty companies checklist to Lonny, who came to do the diagnosis, and he didn't even remotely fill it out correctly. Left the license # blank, did not take photos of the issue, did not list a definitive problem, just wrote "needs replaced" in the description area. I handed him $120 cash, he said he didn't have change so I told him to keep the $5 because I wasn't worried about it. I got the license number from the side of the truck, filled out the rest of the form to the best of my ability, and sent it off to the warranty company (FNHW). It came time for FNHW to get a quote, and it took THREE WEEKS for Sunrise to send anything. When they did, it was just a cute piece of paper saying (in short), full system replacement, $14,000 labor included. No breakdown. Not itemized. No model numbers or makes. Not even remotely close to what I told them I needed IN WRITING. That was the last contact I had with them. After myself and FNHW tried to contact them to get an itemized list, they stopped answering the phone, returning messages or any other forms of contact. We have been living in a house all summer in triple digit heat, and Sunrise couldn't care less.

The plumber said the shower valve was obsolete and it would be very expensive to put in a new one. Said it would cost $750 to install the toilet I had on hand and to fix the kitchen faucet leak it would cost $600 because he felt the faucet had to be replaced and might have to be sawed out to remove. I got the impression he didn't want to do any work since it was late in the day. So he left without doing anything and I got a bill for $100 just to be told all this bad news.

They promised they'd be there at 7am and be done by 3 the next day - and they held to their word! They came out, relined my sewer, installed a clean out, and covered up the hole by 3pm, even hauling away the big rocks they dug up. They did such a great job that I just hired them to repipe all the plumbing in my crawl space and yet again, they gave me a super reasonable bid and were 100% true to their word. This time a crew of 2 younger guys came out - they were extremely polite, got the job done in the time promised, and cleaned up and were on their way out in a day! Plumbing issues are a massive pain in the butt but these guys do live up to their names - they made the whole thing EASY. Every single employee I have interacted with from Liz in the office, Ryan giving bids, and now 3 other service guys have been amazing - super friendly and kind. This even includes the guy who came out at 7pm on a Sunday to clear the line when I first had the issue - nothing but amazing people work here.
