These physicians could care less about you. You're essentially a billing opportunity, not unlike…read moremuch of health care in the US. It may be difficult to find quality health care these days, but you don't have to accept poor service, poor communication, and substandard professionals. Shop around. Give negative feedback to substandard care.

Then we move to Missouri, he turns 64 and all hell breaks loose. The night he wanted to go to the hospital, we decided to go to Urgent Care in Jeff City because we weren't quite sure about Lake Regional. After a quick exam and an EKG, the doctor on duty strongly suggested we get to the ER at St.Mary's and check my husband in. He ended having a serious issue with his heart (although not a heart attack) and needed care immediately. We met Dr. Sanfelippo in the hospital, after my husband was checked in. From the first second we met him, through the procedure my husband underwent with the good Dr. to the last appt. he had with him a few weeks ago, he has been an amazing gentleman! He is kind, friendly, but not overly so, compassionate and truly a decent, wonderful person. He cares deeply about his patients and it shows. I asked my husband to bring me to him if anything ever happens to my heart. Did I mention that he totally knows what the heck he's talking about? Ps. I recently found out that one of my co-workers sees him as well, and before I knew who she was talking about, she said the SAME things about him. Dr. Sanfelippo is awesome!
