Metro Sevilla was our closest stop by our airbnb, which was a great station. Metro Sevilla station is located in Roma Norte, which is a central location for the area, as it's next to many restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. This station was very clean and easy to navigate around, with plenty of signage. There was a ticket counter where you can buy a one-way ticket, which they give you a card that you insert into the slot to enter the station. Or, if you're a frequent metro rider, there is a card that you can tap, similar to what other metro stations do. This metro station is connected to the Centro Historico area, which is where we took the metro to and from. It also didn't take long for the metro to arrive, as we only waited 10 minutes at most. However, it should be noted that the metro gets super busy. We took the metro on a late Friday night and it was packeddd. I mean, packed as in body to body touching. But overall, taking the metro in Mexico City was an easy peasy, cheap experience that more people should take advantage of.

Subway station for the park! This station is rather well…read morelaid out, well labeled, and a simple style of station. There are some booths selling trinkets, fidget spinners, snacks and such. It's not an incredibly busy station. The station lets you out right at the edge of the park, and it's a quick hike over to the actual park. From this station there are multiple bus lines that run all over town from this station. However, it seems that the Metro people and the Bus people don't talk, and there's no signage to let you know where the nearest bus stops are. Additionally, they don't actually stop in front of / near the metro station, like you think would be convenient. For my bus, I had to cross over the highway on an elevated footpath to get to the right place. Groooan. The station is relatively clean, and has some interesting murals.

Strange? ETN normally has been a good experience in the past for me. Today, 8/26/25 the bus from…read moreleaving the Observatorio to Morelia was late by 30 minutes. Once on the road the bus driver stop on a street for over 5 minutes without any apparent reason nor notification. a few passengers became concerned and we had to tap the window of the driver's compartment to inquire. The driver did not respond but just waved his arm. Minutes later we continued without any explanation?

A cool, round subway station! This subway station is…read morelocated in a circular plaza, where there's lots of people who hang out and shine shoes, sell loosies, gum or magazines. The station has some nice artwork, with an airbrushed painting of Frida, Diego, and Hidalgo on one end, and the look of a London pub on the other end. The public art is nice! Around the center of the circle, there's lots of rock carvings of Spaniards on a horse with a sword, and Mayan alphabets. It's a really interesting and nice station! The directions are clearly marked, but they could use more maps. There's also a bus station here, and lots of exits in various directions. Much of the plaza was under construction when I went.

I purchased round trip tickets from Mexico City (TAPO) to Puebla (CAPU)at the TAPO ticket office…read more They have a couple of clerks there with a computer terminal that help you buy your tickets. I got the round trip tickets, and was handed my return ticket on a flimsy receipt paper. I carefully filed the receipt away, and went on my way to Puebla. It was a comfortable, speedy ride with an air conditioned bus, with a restroom, and they even showed a movie about killer robots becoming friendly. But when I sought to return from Puebla to Mexico City, using my flimsy return ticket, printed on receipt paper, I was aghast to see that the receipt paper had faded, and they couldn't properly read the bar code, or the numbers on the bottom of the ticket. Therefore, they declared the ticket invalid, and thought I was trying to scam them out of a one way ride to Mexico City. I was quite unhappy that I was forced to purchase an additional return ticket, because they print their tickets on such flimsy, easily fading paper! Gah! At least the buses were well-maintained, comfortable, speedy, and safe.
