Sno! Zone is an awesome place to spend a couple of hours. It's one of the only snow slopes I can think of in the Yorkshire area, and it's made of real snow too, which I know given our freakishly snowy winter seems a bit redundant, but under normal British weather circumstances, we are a bit on the starved side for snow, and makes an excellent novelty note. If you're planning on visiting Sno! Zone, visit the website first, as you won't be able to just turn up and expect to get a snow slope slot, especially during busy season when it all books up rather quickly. If you've had experience, you can book hour slots up for sloping up and down, up to 4 hours in duration, if not, then you're required to have a lesson with one of the qualified instructors. But once you get going it's mega fun, especially if there's a few of you, you can all laugh at each other as you fall on your backside. Choose from skiing, snowboarding, or tobogganing, wrap up warm, and have a blast. Lessons are around the £27 mark, but if you've been on the snow before, an hour will cost £16, £13 for juniors, but the more hours you book, the cheaper it works out, I think it's £52 for four hours, depending on what time of year you book for. read more
