Nelson was quick to respond and communicate. He had a vision for what my yard could be after... I hadn't even thought that far ahead, I just wanted the bushes gone! He later upsold me on upgraded valves, and found an electrical issue that turned a $180 project into $400+. I paid in full, without a protest or low ball counter offer. Few days later, water was heavily leaking from where his employee dug to replace a wire; there was water all the way down the street. I called Jorge, he asked me how I knew it was them; maybe my piping had "cheap glue"!! I insisted water was coming from where they dug, he got visibly annoyed and said I was being "defensive"!! He finally came and fixed it, but called me angrily and said to never call him again!! I guess the one or even two years warranty he promised is now gone! STAY AWAY.

I needed to find a landscaping and irrigation company that can install schedule 40 pvc pipe as a replacement for the vinyl tubing. I sent out a job request on Yelp and quickly received a response from Jorge Lopez of "Universe Landscape and Design". After reading all of the excellent reviews of "Universe Landscape and Design", I realized this company was very reputable. Jorge stopped by the next day to look at my property and gave me an immediate proposal that included a 1 year warranty which was very affordable that included complete replacement of my drip irrigation system both front and back in schedule 40 pvc! Jorge said the job would take 5 days to complete. The Universe Landscape and Design team finished the job in 3 days!!! I highly recommend "Universe Landscape and Design" for all of your landscape and irrigation jobs. His crew works very hard. Don't hire anyone else. You have found the right people for the job!

They did show up and help identify a leak in the backyard that I pointed them towards. When they were done and said they fixed the leak I returned to the house to find that they had forgotten to turn back on the water and the issues still remained. I asked them to come back out and they made two separate appointments that they would come back. The first one they missed and I asked why and they said they were off today...the second one they made they just never showed up and never responded to anything after that. Tried to give a company with no reviews a shot and it doesn't always work. And while their page says they accept multiple payment methods they instead insisted on CashApp which is a bit of a flag. Would definitely not recommend based on extremely unprofessional/lack of communication and resolving unresolved issues.
