Looking for a place to stay in Chamonix that isn't going to break the bank? Looking for an apartment is your best bet. I spent so much time looking for a place to stay and there are plenty of chalets and apartments in Chamonix but most require a minimum of a 1 week stay.
What's great about SnoStation is that they run several properties in the area so they'll provide what's available within your budget and range. I was able to book a 2 bedroom (4 person max) for 4 nights from Sat - Wed for only 630 euros (yes, a bargain!). It was in a great convenient location with bars, supermarket, equipment rental shop and bus stop that are minutes away. The place was really cozy - probably ideal for a family as the bunk bed room was so small and without any windows, but at the end of the day you barely spend time there anyway. It was nice having a full kitchen.
What really impressed me was how helpful they are in arranging anything from lessons to lift passes and airport transfers. I'd highly recommend booking through them if this is your first time in Chamonix. read more
