The rooms are quite rustic looking, with lots of wood panelling, however they are comfortable, spacious and warm, with all the facilities you need. The rooms are so cheap if you book outside the main season.

There is a pool, sauna and cardio work out room. Set out in the basement of the main building. The pool was warm & the sauna took the sting out of the rheumatism from skiing. We cooked great meals from grocery shop Super U in the town. Supermarche across the river was also ok. We rented skis from skiset next to hotel. Got 20% discount. There was Nordic skiing 15 mins away follow the river. Rent Nordic ski from Intersport across the trails for Eu10 per person. Some good restaurant & bakery around hotel. No need to walk too far. Catch the electric town bus for free to the main bus station in chamonix sud. Laundry available on the main shopping mall with free WiFi and soap included for Eu5.5. Staff were friendly. Store your skis or snow board in the basement locker. There is no house keeping so keep your towels for repeat use. 2 bathrobes provided for each room.
