I'm lucky…read moreI noticed and got it away from my eyes with the gown. stylist did not do as I asked and denied I asked for the butterfly cut 3 times despite me making it very clear it's what I wanted. It just proves she was not listening. The owner replied saying I was venomous and was moved to the back of the salon because my conversation was personal. If a stylist I have had for years asked me about what happened about something I will answer. Who the hell is this woman to decide a conversation about something not involving sex or adult material swearing or offensive language is not to be discussed! I can't help my life! Also if she felt this was the case why did she not phone me after the so called offending conversation and discuss in an adult professional manner? She then branded me a liar and didn't even bother to call me to discuss before writing this. There was absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation and just believed the pack of lies she was told. The cleanliness was disgusting which she denied but she came to the salon and told her stylist it was a shit hole which they sat moaning ng about! To call any customer a venomous liar and to banish a physically disabled client to the back of a salon up stairs while on crutches struggling to walk and only offer one drink in 7 hours is apparently acceptable practice. She says she welcome feedback well clearly not. Or only positive because there was no problem when I left a positive review last time. I saved months for this appointment, came out extremely disappointed, blistered and feeling unready for the wedding I was having my hair done for, have left an honest review and get treated like this. It's one thing supporting your staff but to call clients names publicly and publicly comment on why they were shoved in a corner and ignored ( my conversation was not inappropriate in any way as I'm careful what I say in public about certain subjects and unless I was swearing vulgar or loudly discussing sexual or adults content, who the hell is she to declare my conversation with a 7 year long at least hair stylist enquiring about something she's always asked me about is offensive or making people uncomfortable. Don't bloody listen then I can't help life. Disgraceful A conversation was all that was needed. But obviously that's too adult and professional for this owner Unfortunately I did go to blonde to support a local business woman but she has shown exactly what is wrong with all female hair salons. She chose to bitch and be spiteful personal and unnecessary when my review was factual not personal. I apparently am not welcome at the salon. So there was no concerns over my blistered face, it was immediately assumed I was lying and no attempt to contact me to discuss before this personal attack was put online. What upsets me the most is the inference I had to be caged in a corner because of my conversation. Sadly I lived this situation and if other people find it upsetting instead of deciding it made others uncomfortable perhaps they should actually not have been listening or should stick to conversation about the weather and not ask me about it. Or had sympathy for the fact someone had to face the situation. Sadly the owner has forgotten you lead from the top and those under you will copy your behaviour so clearly the poor listening skills, poor hygiene ( shared hairbrushes which left flakes of bleach hair products and yuk skin cells all over the gown as I don't have dandruff or hair products in my hair nor do I want lice eggs or others skin cells and fungus in my hair) and appalling attitude to customers come from her. I would and have supported her local business for years but seeing as I am not welcome..... like I would ever go back to that attitude and a hair cut paid for that didn't happen despite 3 times discussing I wanted the butterfly cut Simple facts were there had been gossip about me which is unprofessional in the first place, her stylist listened to the lies, decided she didn't want to listen which was noted straight away and didn't listen to what I asked for. I'm going to discuss with my solicitor. The libelous comments could be extremely damaging to me and the blisters could scar. I have before and after photos as proof. I won't display them publicly as I'm entitled to privacy and I don't want or need people commenting on so called conversations I have not had. I hope people read her comments on my review and see how unprofessional she is and she loses business because people like her give good hairdressers a bad name. She has also blocked me from Facebook and messenger which shows she had no interest in resolving it in the first place and feels name calling libel is justified. Her attitude puts women in business back 40 years so to lecture me on not supporting a woman based business is ironic, especially as it has been my salon since 2013

    The stylists in this salon are great, listen to you and help you get the best of the cut and style…read morethat works for you, but are working under (in my opinion) difficult circumstances. It is a shame that after the upmarket refit and the very visible shelves of a prestigious and expensive product that the hard sell becomes more important than the customer. I always understood that a visit to the hair salon was a comfortable and relaxing experience, but not here, not any more. Now it is decided that you have to be told (lectured) how to wash your hair and that your products are not right for you. Surely that is for you (and your budget) to decide, not someone with a hidden agenda. It is also highly embarrassing and uncomfortable when you are told that (in their presence) that your stylist and the unfortunate assistant have not done their job correctly. Luckily, there are other, friendlier, salons with equally talented stylists in town. It is such a shame to leave people that you like because of the actions of the patronising and arrogant owner. Maybe the owner has deemed that the upmarket refit is not suitable for the customers that come to her establishment. She certainly is "not interested in your problems". I thought that was what going to the hair salon was all about - a new style and the chance to unwind, chat and benefit from sympathy. If that is what you are looking for then go elsewhere - I am.

    Used to be a good salon but no its not surprising no-one goes in there. When I arrived I was told…read morethat the person who was supposed to be cutting my hair (for £16) was not in that day, nor in fact anyone else but a person who could cut it for £30 (instead of the usual £40 he normally would charge). I said okay as I needed my hair done that day and I did not know if I could get in anywhere else. Whilst cutting my hair he explained that they could not keep staff. They just kept leaving. One customer had complained that her hair was done by a different person five times in a row. When leaving they charged me £35 instead of the £30 agreed, and my hair the next day looked just as good as if a junior sylist did it. Be out of business soon I expect.
