I went to this place 2 times. The first time, I saw Kaitie Crawford and I was happy with the color, but the cut was noticeably uneven when I left. Since she got the color right, I excused the hair cut as a fluke. I came back about 6 months later (I tend to go about that long between appointments, I'm petty low maintenance.) The 2nd time I saw Kaitie again, and I asked for ombré. I already had a pretty good start to it. She bleached my hair all the way up within 2 inches of my head. It just looked like really bad grow out. I mentioned to her when we were finished that this wasn't what I wanted and her response was "Well, maybe ombré isn't the look for you." This wasn't ombré. I've had ombré before from another salon. She did not offer to fix it. The next day, I asked for it to be fixed because I was so unhappy with the grungy look that I had going on, and it was so far from what I had asked for. Initially, she set me up for a week out and then cancelled last minute and then her boss, Janie, called and offered to fix it, free of charge. I was so relieved. She was very sweet and kind. However, I left that appointment with cheetah spots all though out my hair. Big splotches of dark in odd places. I messaged her with pictures of it and asked how this could be fixed. She had me come in and pick up a Malibu packet, which was a treatment that I was to do at home. I came home, did that, and still, the blotches were there. I came back for another corrective appointment with Janie a week after that (2 weeks with bad hair now.) This time, she was snippy and catty. She blamed my shampoo for causing this hair disaster, because it wasn't salon brand, (I've been using it for years and had never experienced anything like this) and then at one point she blamed the fact that I am on Thyroid medication, (I've been on that since I was 18, and again, I've never had something like this happen to my hair.) When she finished, I could see that my hair hadn't improved much. It was now more ashy in a vain attempt to hide the dark spots. She told me that this was as good as she could do, and she told me to get some better shampoo, (and gave me some and told me to send her a check for it, since I didn't have cash with me.) I asked several hair dresser friends of mine and they all agreed that there is no way that shampoo could cause such a terrible color job. It was clearly a formulation issue. She didn't know what she was doing. This lack of expertise was also obvious, because she clearly didn't know how to fix it, either. I then had to wait about a month before I could get into a different salon because of schedule and childcare issues. I wore a lot of hats and buns, and this spanned over Easter and then Mother's Day before it was all said and done. Bad hair for about 2 months. This time, I chose a larger, Aveda salon, because they keep up with their trainings as part of the job, whereas in smaller, independent salons, it's all on the individual stylists to keep up on their own training, and this means that they often are not as knowledgeable. They agreed that it was a formulation issue and they told me at the first appointment that it would probably take a couple appointments to fix it. They were shocked at how bad it was. Surprise, surprise, the cut was uneven again (Kaitie at Snooty Fox had cut it again). It took 4 hours and more foils than I've ever had in my life to reduce the spots to a livable point. I left that appointment knowing I needed at least one more to get rid of all of the spots. At that point, I contacted Snooty Fox and asked for a refund to help cover the significant expense of trying to repair their damage. Really, they should have offered to pay for part of the cost of repair, on top of the refund. They were not about to take any responsibility, and just reminded me that they didn't charge me to do "color correction." Uh, you mean the thing that caused unbelievable damage to my hair? Yeah, thanks for not charging me for that. They said I would have to talk to Kaitie about a refund, since I had paid her $120 for the excessive bleach job that was supposed to be ombré. She never did respond, but several days later, I was contacted by phone by a different stylist and was told they would merely refund me, but would not help cover the cost of repair, and again, I was told that it was my shampoo that caused this. No responsibility. That is the scary thing, that, and that they couldn't even fix it. After the second appointment at the Aveda salon, which involved a cut, more foils, and extensive treatment for the dryness from all of this. I have now spent over $500 on my hair in a matter of 2 months. I'm a twice a year visitor to a hair salon. I'm very low maintenance, wash and wear type. I don't use heat styling or products in my hair. This has been a nightmare. Steer clear of Snooty Fox if you don't want your hair to be wrecked.

It was a difficult task to ask, but Wendy did it with flying colors in very little time!
