I spent my whole life thinking I have horrible hair. For years I drove to 45 minutes to Portland and paid top dollar to only be "okay" with how I looked. I blamed my hair. My stylist was a sweetheart and at that point, it was still the best cut and service experience I had ever had. Then my fancy, big city stylist went on maternity leave and I found Debbie right in my own backyard. It was a whole new world. Debbie is not only a gifted stylist and colorist, but a wonderful person. I love the time I spend with her and am ALWAYS happy with my hair. I feel cute and stylish when I leave her salon, ready to conquer the world. I *never* have to go home and fix it. It has been over 15 years now and I will NEVER leave her!! I always hated my hair and thought I had to do all kinds of crazy, expensive things to make it look acceptable. I'm leaving this review to respond to the one from Maggie because there's been an error. I don't delete my texts or my voice messages until I have handled the calls and there is no way I missed that many calls or that many texts. I went back and looked through all of 2019 and there isn't anything from anyone named Maggie. Or anyone else for that matter. I also haven't been taking new clients since 12/2016 when my children lost their father and I needed to be more available to them. I get so many compliments about my hair color. 'Your color looks so natural!' 'Your hair color matches your complexion perfectly!' The compliments always end with, Who does your hair!?' Debbie Foushee at Ella Bleu's! Debbie is the consummate professional with a personal touch. Not only is she my hairdresser but she has become a good & trusted friend. She cuts my hair exactly how it needs to be cut and I never leave her deliciously decorated shop disappointed. Debbie has cut my hair for over 20 years. My husband has had his haircut by Debbie for over 20 years. We moved away from newberg soon after arriving there yet for 20 years he has driven a 34 mile round trip even though there are stylists near us. He doesn't use Yelp but he asked me to leave a recommendation because she is so great. He says she really listens carefully, she is very kind and friendly, she is easy to talk to while working, she's very flexible about scheduling appointments and very reliable. I've been trusting Debbie at Ella Bleu's Salon to do my hair for years. I have very fine, thin, and unmanageable hair, and she keeps me cut and colored better than anyone I've ever been to. She's so good at what she does, I was even able to persuade my barber-shop-only husband to start going to her, and he has been a convert for years, now, too. In addition to her skills, she is an incredible person. Debbie has been taking care of my curly mop for the past 18 years. As I've gotten older, she has also been wonderful about making my white hair blend well with my natural blond highlights.
