They returned our call quickly but explained it may be a few months until repairs could be done because of their schedule. Since our pillar was done twice prior for the same issue by 2 different companies, we figured we had nothing to lose by waiting. Once they came, we knew it was well worth the wait. They mortar was carefully drilled out (which wasn't done by other contractors). Once that was done, the pillar, porch, flower beds were all hosed down as well as our front door & windows. A day or 2 later 3 men returned to apply new mortar. The next day they came back for the final cleanup. We can't say enough good things about this company! Punctual, neat, professional and everything else we'd hoped for in a contracting company. We know we'll never call anyone else for concrete repair work.

They provided a fair and reasonable quote for the material and work needed. Their crews showed up and made quick work and provided a good looking job and thoroughly cleaned up. They addressed some small issues post install quickly and without question. There was no nickel and diming, they gave a good quote and worked with me on small changes. I had received multiple companies' quotes, and I picked them because they were middle of the range for the same material and were easy to work with and gave the initial impression of being more than 'salesman' and invested in the customer experience.

Years of solid service, then one maintenance visit, $5k in avoidable damage, and selective silence…read morelater... I used them happily for years on a bi-annual plan with zero issues and would have recommended them without hesitation. That changed after our late-January routine maintenance visit. Shortly after, the AC froze for the first time ever, thawed, and flooded the hallway with significant property damage. A second Central Penn tech came out, flagged restricted return airflow, and recommended adding another return. We got the estimate, requested minor changes for a revised quote - and never received one. During that window of waiting on the quote, the unit froze a second time. Only then did I bring in a 2nd independent licensed HVAC contractor, who discovered the blower fan speed was set incorrectly for the system. Combined with the restricted airflow from the vent being bolted and taped shut, this incorrect and overlooked fan speed was gradually destroying the equipment. Two unit freeze-ups, two Central Penn visits, property damage and two additional visits and repairs from a 2nd contractor left me roughly $5k out of pocket for problems that appear to have started the moment their first tech left in January. * First tech left the filter access door taped and bolted shut, restricting airflow. * Second tech correctly noted the restricted return air but somehow never noticed (or checked) that the blower fan speed was set incorrectly for the system (which one can only assume was correctly set prior to the January visit). At that visit I was given no warning to stop using the unit or any indication that continued operation could cause further damage as every previous visit stated the unit was in correct working order. * When I followed up via email afterwards with a full overview of the situation, they agreed to refund their follow-up visit to the bi-annual maintenance check (which I'm still waiting on the actual money from) I simply asked whether bolting/taping a filter door shut is standard procedure and whether techs routinely verify blower speed. That email has now gone 2+ weeks unanswered. Hard not to read the silence as an unwillingness to acknowledge either issue because of the liability it would create. I'm not asking for perfection. I'm asking that multiple paid maintenance visits catch the obvious things that can destroy an HVAC system, let alone most likely having the techs creating the issues, and that a long-time customer at least get a straight answer when things go sideways. Neither fully happened.
