First the lake, this lake reminds me of a volcano, if you looked at it from far away you would think that it's the crater or a big volcano that just happens to have a lake in it instead of lava. Unfortunately it's not volcanic; it's a glacially formed lake. There are nice walks you can do around the lake and the views really are magnificent. If you are driving to the lake you certainly need to be skilled at getting up hills though. This goes for walking to the lake to by the way! There is no such thing as a flat road when you are heading up here! For me it's the road that is the exciting bit!
