They helped with baiting the hooks, unhooking the catches, cleaning the fish, and providing unparalleled entertainment. We couldn't have asked for a better day on the water, the fish were biting and the weather was absolutely perfect. The captain kept putting us right on the fish and we ended the trip with plenty to bring to a restaurant for a hook and cook dinner. I can't recommend this place enough, the price is right and the people running it and keeping it going are great. The captain even let us know when a pod of dolphins were nearby so we could enjoy seeing them! Such an unexpected and great bonus to the day! It is BYOB if you want, but onboard they do have some beverages and snacks for purchase (cash only on board), but we brought our own which worked out well. Tickets can be purchased with debit or credit cards, but cash on board is king for drinks/snacks, tips, and fish cleaning so make sure to bring some cash for your day on the water! If you're in the middle keys and want a great value for a fishing trip without a full charter, this is the best there is and totally worth it.

Even when he said he felt like it was slow day, he managed to keep our rods all bent. They charged us $196 to replace an already beat up prop they said we damaged. Best of all they said WE SHOULD have taken a photo before we took possession and they TELL their customers to do that. NOT TRUE. Probably nice folks but not happy with their treatment. Maybe THEY should take a video of equip and prop WITH the customer upon taking possession to prevent any dispute. But that would weaken their ability to keep there boats like new at renters expense.

We drove our Class C pulling our boat. When we arrived, without even asking, the staff told us to unhook the boat and they would put it in the water for us while we set up at our site. That was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Our site was right on the water near a roped off swimming area. We ran into a little rv trouble which cut our trip short. (Converter went out = no a/c). We had to pack up a day early and head home. The staff was super understanding and refunded us our last night's fee. We did not expect that either but again very appreciative! The staff backed our trailer in the water and helped load the boat with ease. They parked it in an area easy to hook up to with the rv for our departure. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Very friendly mom and pop campground.

I think she did it purposely because my rate was $80.00 per day as I booked months in advance and they now charge $138.00 per night. I have stayed at a lot of rv parks and this was the worst experience I ever had with a staff member! I would avoid this RV park for sure! Beware of Jolly Roger's!

Because of a lot of school of different fish run through here you have the change to catch a huge variety of fish throughout different times of the day and night. I have seen buckets full of yellow tail, jack, lane snappers, groupers. I have always caught huge grunts and a lot of cubera snappers. We have even seen multiple times a huge beautiful golden loggerhead sea turtle that likes to hang out close by. It's absolutely spectacular to see him go up and down and just let the surge take him. We love this pier is very active and great for all time fishing. And at night the stars take over the sky which are absolutely missed in the city.
