They charged me £19.99 for passport photos. Quite expensive considering I've seen some charge £5.99. Average price is £9.99. You go to their website and couldn't find their pricing. Even when customers go there directly, they should announce the price beforehand. What if the customer only had £10 with them? read more

I've used their service a couple times: both times to print out photos in postcard format - I love adding personal touches like this ;-) While I don't find them super friendly at this particular location, they do the job efficiently and in a timely manner. As for pricing, it ain't cheap (roughly 1.99 per postcard), but instead of buying a silly postcard with Buckingham Palace on it (which can also cost up to 1.50, I find this way of connecting with old friends way more personal and engaging. So, if you have some fun pictures and you want to make a friend or relative happy - send them a real postcard by snail mail; you'd be surprised how happy you can make people with something simple like this! (Oh, and if you order higher quantities, they will give you discounts ;-) Tip: all you need is a smartphone and your photo uploaded to it (even if it's on FB/Twitter or Instagram) as they have computer terminals there, where you can download your picture onto. read more

What happens if plan A doesn't work? It is all about having a good plan B. In my case it was getting some fotos printed out for an internal presentation. I was lucky that I found Snappy Snaps near our office. You are able to upload your pics via a free app or with a foto tool that they offer online. It took me less than 5 min to upload the pics and put the order through. By the way the software allows you to do nice collages with fun prints on them. After one hour I got a mail saying that my pics are ready to get picked up. The staff was super friendly and remade the pics after I have seen that I picked a wrong size. I was even allowed to keep the first copies of them for free. Wohoo! Looking on the prize. Snappy Snaps is pretty expensive. I payed £44 for 15 copies in 6 x 6. I don't know if these are London prizes or if this is dear. Anyways. I really enjoyed the customer service and the fact that I was able to get to a success story in case of my presentation. So four stars from my side! read more

No one likes to have passport photos taken, but if you need them...you need them. And Snappy Snaps can get them to you quickly. UK passport photos are 6 for £10. Done in under 10 minutes. If you need US pictures it's pricier (and for less photos). Why? I don't know. But the UK ones, that's pretty standard and the service is better than a photobooth. Done and done! Snappy Snaps! (LOL) read more

Used these guys often and overall, great prints and great service! Been to other snappy snaps and not been super impressed but here they're really friendly and when I went back once with prints with splotches, they took the time to explain what was wrong etc. they've also reopened the door for me to pick up prints even though they'd closed. Great service makes this place my favourite photo shop! read more

Looking to get ripped off? Then Snappy Snaps is the place for you! Not even a hot name like "Snappy Snaps" can save this place in my eyes. Tried to get a couple U.S. passport size photos and they wanted £17.99 for two! UK passport photos were (if I remember correctly) £9.99 for 4 in comparison. I don't think so. Luckily, there is a Royal Mail Post Office pretty much directly across the street, so went there instead and paid £7 for 4 U.S. sized ones. £10 instant savings! Getting regular pictures printed costs 99p each, still seemed a bit much in comparison to nearby chemists/shops, but I guess Snappy Snaps can get the job done if need be and of course you have the clerk to help you, but... those prices scared me right off. read more

I'm certainly glad that they are here, nothing like getting visa photos done 3 minutes away from your office. That said, it's not cheap. 19.99 for US visa or passport photos, but what can you do. The service could be friendlier. The girl (who's an intern) who took my photo was nice enough, but her mentor was a bit mean. She kept telling me "absolutely no smile", even though it's not a rule for visa photos, but only for passport photos. I tried to explain it but she wouldn't listen. It turns out these photos weren't needed for H1B renewal anyway, while my visa appointment instruction clearly stated it's required. Make up your mind US consulate! read more

Great, efficient, friendly customer service, exceptional by any standard, and truly outstanding by orders of magnitude by London standards (yes, I am saying what you think I am saying). Needed very simple job really - color printouts of 3 legal docs with charts asap for rush hand delivery. Done right away and on high quality paper. Snappy! Why is that remarkable and worthy of 5 stars? What differentiates them is the service. Immediate assistance, all 3 staff in the shop were pitching in, seeing what each customer needed and just doing it. It was like a ballet - well choreographed, seeming effortless, but actually not. All of us customers were at different stages of different types of projects, and the staff looked around, saw what was needed, proactively took appropriate action, covered for each other, picked up on customer cues, etc. and it wasn't even with a robotic, corporate, "they're-making-me-do-this-just-like-in-the-HR-training-module" after-taste. They just danced around, doing their jobs and doing them well, dealing with people as people, even cracking a few jokes, even cracking one which was actually laugh-out-loud funny. Truly refreshing. It's a hole-in-the-wall shop, but they found me a small corner to use as workspace to bind my docs, helpfully mentioned that the presentation materials I had brought with me to use (clear cover report binder with slide-on spine) might vary slightly in size, managed passport photos for another customer, dealt graciously with a very particular retail customer looking for a photo frame, were helpful and generous with their phone customers, filled in-between moments by working on other projects. Every customer interaction a 10, really impressive, especially for a small probably franchise business. And didn't even charge me an arm and a leg - very reasonable. Only thing I would change is that staff didn't hand me back my memory stick after he printed my docs for me at an open terminal, and I forgot to take it. So I had to go back. But that's it. I found it on yelp, and went there for purely geographical reasons. But it will now be a destination. read more

Extremely expensive. I went to snappy snaps for a passport photo. They charged me 36 GBP for 2 prints and a digital copy. I asked for the price of 2 additional prints and they increased it to 51 GBP. The service is average at best and there I find it incredibly hard to understand how they justify that price. read more

PASSPORT PHOTOS DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENT ! I had recently been into a Snappysnap store on Baker street to have my passport photograph taken for the British passport. Having submitted my application with the photos, I had received a reply from the Home office stating that the photos do not meet their requirement, I had then gone into the Snappy snap store where the photo was taken along with my original receipt and proof of home office letter and explained the situation to the staff. The response I received was unhelpful and unapologetic, the staff told me that I need to retain at least 2 photos for them to be able to give me a refund, obviously this wasn't mentioned at the time of purchasing the photographs , and it defeats the purpose of having to take a passport photo in the first place which is to send it for a particular purpose and no one actually retains them for personal use or assurance should something go wrong. Even if this is the case they should give their customers 2 extra photos at their cost to keep as proof should the photos not be accepted, this was however not the case as I paid for all 6 photos. I had called the head office to explain my situation but even this was futile since they explained that the store was a franchise and they were not involved in the terms and conditions the franchise sets out. This is gross unaccountably from the franchisers part and false advertising from the shop owner's part. This is the first time I felt I had to review a service since I felt it was not an ethical way of doing business. read more

The man was extremely rude when he talked to me even though I tried to talk nicely. Don't come to this shop. I will never go back here again. read more

I had terrible experience there today..I went to do passport pictures and was rushing with my little boy 2 years old for the appointment to embassy.. the person that was taking the pictures- so expensive by the way £9,99 ripp off! -never told me that my make up was all over the place there was also nowhere to check so when he showed me it seemed ok but the picture was small and grey but when they printed it it was visible and unacceptable when i said it that they were really bad the man just blanked me! And was ignoring me while I was speaking I couldnt believe it! He just didnt care that I was not happy with the pictures and just spent 10£ for it. I persisted and spoke to another member of staff and eventually that person did photoshop it so it was possible!..very bad service and very unfriendly staff..I wouldn't recommend it. Nobody even helped me to open the door and they could see I was struggling with my son in my arms and a buggy. read more
