We either end up leaving hungry, paying too much for too little, or eating an uninspired breakfast that neglects the "-unch" suffix of brunch. When it comes to the brunch at Boentje, none of these things are true. We both ordered the waffle of the week, which came with a marinated pulled chicken and tomato sauce. Delicious. The little accompanying salad was a nice touch as well, especially with the almonds. That's not all though. The yogurt with granola was so so tasty, as well as the preserved lemon(?) paste(?)/spread(?) on the other waffle... Oh and there's cookie dough for some reason (it's pretty good too.)
