Best smoothie king around! The store is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and my smoothies always taste great.

Ugh this is getting insane every time I get my drink it gets lower and lower. Y'all literally pour out the rest of the smoothie down the drain so why not give people they're moneys worth. The only person who makes the drinks right and fills them consistently is the darker skin tone guy with curly hair. Anyone else you won't know until you've already been there for 30 mins. also there needs to be a retraining for all the girls I have yet met one without a ugly attitudes or did not miss up my order. read more

Stopped at this location twice because we stayed in Lake Charles for the weekend. I've been to Smoothie Kings all over the lower part of the US and have loved them! I have decided this place needs a whole new crew. Very SLOW and slightly rude. The employees seem a bit dense, I don't want to offend anyone but when the person behind the counter is making something that you will be consuming and they look almost right through you with a glazed look in their eye; something needs to be done. read more

Service here is pretty bad. They seem to only hire college freshmen who still think it's funny and novel to screw with customers. I get it, but they really need some adult supervision in there. Does this place not have a manager? If I'm taking out a second mortgage for a smoothie that's soaked in added sugar (not advertised, but they dump massive amounts of extra sugar in almost every smoothie on the menu) they could at least pretend to appreciate my business while I'm there. read more

I was able to learn a new language with the time I had waiting for my smoothie. It took 30 minutes to service 5 customers.

They get one star because the smoothies are good. However for years they have had the rudest workers. Tonight was the worst in a while. Everything I requested was unavailable, which was fine; but she was soooo incredibly rude in her: responses, body language, and facial expressions. Not a customer around but she acted like she did not need nor want my service and there was something wrong with me for not knowing they did not have what I asked about. Just say "I'm sorry mam we do not have that but we have this... " So she got exactly what she wanted. The only reason I went there was because Planet nutrition and One stop at Gigi's were closed! I think I'll make my own or wait until tomorrow and go where the workers care about their job. read more

Slow. Slow. Slow. This is the slowest Smoothie King I've ever been to. I've never had anyone be rude to me, but the speed is a problem. I've been in when I'm the only customer waiting & still left 10 minutes later. Half the time my smoothie's wrong. I'm sure some will say "Why go back?" Well, when you work in the area & it's the only "Healthy" place to grab a breakfast, you just suck it up & go to Smoothie King 20 minutes before you go to work, so you make it to work on time. I love smoothie kings. They make the best smoothies but this location is not up to par. The service is very slow and not near as friendly.

This was one of my everyday spots for lunch. Was being the key word. The new window cashier was rude and abnoxious. I've been to many other smoothie king places throughout my travels and none are run as inefficiently as this one. read more

I will be there I think there are a lot of companies in this world that simply have short-sighted, poor management. Maybe there is something to be said about sticking with things until you can change the culture, but more times than not, you can't do anything about company culture without the authority anyways. Companies that value the denial of one unemployment/worker's comp claim over employee morale will ultimately hurt their productivity, as well as future marketability and reputation with prospective employees. At the end of the day, the really good employees will either leave as soon as they find out how things really are or never even apply once word spreads about the company. I recommend everyone do their research before taking a position at any company. A lot of recruiting websites (like indeed.com and glassdoor.com) have reviews on companies, which are extremely helpful. You just have to be on the lookout for disgruntled employees that post bad reviews to get back at a company for being legitimately terminated. Keep your head up and stay positive!
