I moved to the west coast for many years and I missed Smoothie King so much. Jamba Juice is the California equivalent and it is far inferior. My only sadness is they no longer have shredded coconut, but I know that's a corporate decision. I love this location and only wish it was little closer to me. read more

I stopped in here on one HOT afternoon after having not really eaten anything all day. I had never been to a Smoothie King before but I really liked it! I saw that the Matcha Tango smoothie was a meal replacement so I decided to get that. The employee recommended that I get it with mango so I did and it was delicious! This flavor was so delicious that when my friend picked up smoothies for us later in the week, I requested this same exact drink. I wasn't blown away or anything but I will definitely be coming more often to get this one smoothie! read more

I went there on 7/7/2019 a Sunday afternoon. The people working there were very rude. Didn't get anything at the end because the were unhelpful and rude. read more

HORRIBLE service. People were rude and when I went to order no one was at the register. I know 3 people were at least working. Stood there for 5 minutes before I decided to leave. Never going back again. read more

Think food poisoning, employees who don't care, aren't friendly and just want to go home for the evening. I have visited twice in the last month. Both visits were bad. The first visit the smoothies were okay but they lied to me about their rewards program. I signed in on the touch pad at the check out even though the redhead said it doesn't work. I got a text after I left saying I got a $2 off my first order. Too late. Then last night I ordered the pineapple mango without yogurt. Well I got the opposite. It was a cup of yogurt. I'm lactose intolerant BTW. No fruit and then bonus was little slivers of what looked and felt like plastic. Gross! Both visits they were mopping the floor 30 minutes before closing presenting us with a possible slip hazard. read more

Yelp says that they open at 10am; however, they were still closed with no sign on the door. Very disappointed since I went out of my way to come here for a vegan smoothie. read more

For the second time in a row I ordered the Raspberry Collider (Raspberries, Bananas, Orange Juice, Raspberry Sorbet, Electrolyte Mix). Don't forget your loyalty card! read more

I don't get to go to this one as much cause its out if my way a bit, but it is the best in C'vill . The staff is so awesome. I told them I was allergic to Papaya so to not put it in my smoothie and they went as to go in back and get me a fresh blender to make mine in! I didn't even ask!!!! Great spot amazingly tasty smoothies! read more

My boyfriend and I live nearby and have visited this Smoothie King frequently for about 2 years now because we enjoy the smoothies. We have had multiple poor experiences with customer service (slow, employees not knowing how to ring up or make the smoothies, employees not knowing about coupons) but after the experience we had this evening, we have decided we will not be returning. It is evident that the employees lack training and knowledge about the products. As expensive as Smoothie King is, I expect quality products and quality service, and you do not get that here. read more

I work in the same shopping center and needed a cool pick me up in 90 degree virginia weather. Since I'm working an 8 hour shift, hadn't had anything to eat besides a granola bar for breakfast. Looked at the menu online and decided I wanted to try the Island Impact (Pineapple, Mango Sorbet, Mango Juice Blend, Papaya Juice Blend, Vanilla Protein Blend) and it is soooooo good! I got a 40 oz bc I was going to have a long day. It was so refreshing and you could really taste the yummy pineapple, mango, and papaya. Very good. read more

I like a liquid lunch. The smothies are great.. they seem to be able to keep to the same standard on a regular basis. My only complaint is the staff changes constantly and the level of service varies considerably. I have been ignored or simply glared at and I have been welcomed and smiled at... the never seems to be a manager on the premises. read more

Came in on a super busy Saturday with only 2 people working. The were super fast and polite. Sofie, the employee that took my order did a wonderful job handing the busy situation and crowd! read more

They don't even know how to ring you properly for a smoothie and will claim that they refunded you but they don't know how. Ended up with a small smoothie for $12.00 because they are incompetent and I didn't want to wait any longer. read more

I went to get my wife a smoothie when she was pregnant several years ago. Horrible service. Placed my order and was promptly forgotten/ignored. Other customers came and went while I stood there waiting. When they finally realized they'd forgotten me, they LAUGHED. Never went back. read more

they send coupons in the mail and thats the only time i really went because i thought they were a little pricey. the smoothies are good though and with the discounts they are totally worth it. nice on a hot , humid cville day! read more

I'm glad I found this place since there's no Jamba Juice here in Charlottesville. I'm also glad they have a lot of their nutritional information printed out and laminated for customers to read. But I was a little disappointed that the nutritional information did not indicate common allergens (like dairy). The cashier tried to help me, but did not know the answer. I got over it and ordered a Celestial Cherry High because she knew for sure that had no dairy and was relatively low calorie when ordered without the turbinado . It was delicious! The smallest size if definitely more than enough, filling, and affordable. Even though they could not answer all of my questions, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There are lots of options here, but be careful not to fall for some of the fake healthy smoothies and snacks. Some of their smoothies pack close to 1,000 calories in 20 ounces and some contain over 100 grams of sugar. That being said, it is possible to find a smoothie that fits your nutritional needs or just find a great tasting treat. read more

I am from out of town and we pull in to the parking like at 7:50. As we walk up to the door the worker and or manager walks towards the door shaking his head, turns off the light, and locks the door even though technical it still should be open. Horrible customer service. Even if there is no possible way to make a smoothie which honestly takes maybe a couple minutes, have the decency to at least apologize. read more

Horrible customer service. Walked in at 7:38pm to get 2 smoothies for our son's who were finishing up a soccer camp. We were told with 3 people in front of us that they were behind and could not service us. That we needed to leave. read more
