The space is really beautiful and welcoming, and the staff are kind--I appreciated being greeted right when I walked in. That said, both times I've visited, I did end up waiting a bit past my appointment time, which was a little frustrating. The services themselves felt a bit rushed, and I didn't get the same level of attention to detail I've experienced at other places. I also noticed that the wax residue wasn't fully cleaned off afterward, which I personally prefer as part of the service. Lastly, there were a few areas that felt slightly incomplete, so I didn't leave feeling 100% satisfied with the results. Because of these issues, I don't think I'll be returning.

First, the person I ALWAYS see is Kailah and I was never informed she wasn't available for my appointment and someone else would take me (surprise - it was supposed to be Lucia, who answered the phone thinking I didn't catch her name). Lucia proceeded to tell me I could still come in and see if I could be taken and I told her I'm at the light, she said I could cancel, so I said, "I'm literally at the light but if you say you can't then I'll cancel." So she said "ok I'll cancel thanks bye" then hung up. Ummmmm ... I need to make another appointment HELLLOOOO???? Nikki owns most of the Radiants in the Bay Area and this isn't the first time I've had a horrible experience with someone over the phone. I stopped going to the Walnut Creek location for this exact reason. Mariana was another person I'd go to, but apparently she's left. Once Kailah is gone, I'm never returning. However, unfortunately, the service was not what I expected. I was here for a Brazilian Wax, it was painful, and it did not remove all of the hair. I appreciate Leah's kindness and the nice environment, but I think I'll probably stick with my usual place, even though it's a little more expensive, because I've had a better experience there.

Today was my first experience at this location. I was already hesitant to book an appointment…read morebecause I generally prefer supporting local businesses, but I was in a pinch and decided to give this location a chance. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 p.m., but I waited about 15 minutes before being seen. Initially, I thought the service went well. I understand that waxing may not remove every single hair, especially depending on the stage of hair growth, but I expected the majority of visible hair to be removed. When I got home, I noticed several long hairs between my labia that should have been waxed, along with a significant amount of remaining hair throughout the treated area. Considering I paid $75 for the service and left a $10 tip, I expected a level of service that reflected the $85 total I spent. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced why I no longer feel confident choosing European Wax Center. Each time I've visited one of their locations, I've left disappointed. I shouldn't have to go home and spend additional time tweezing and removing hair after paying for a professional waxing service.
