I purchased a $14 disposable vape earlier thi. evening on my credit card. I started opening the packaging as i was walking out of the store. Got to my car and tried to puff on the thing and immediately realized it did not work. Didn't work at all. Puffing away for a minute or two and still nothing. No vapor AT ALL. Clearly a defective product. I walked immediately back in to the store and told the woman who had just sold it to me that it was clearly defective. I actually went back in to the store not even expecting a refund; I was more than happy exchanging the defective one for one that actually works. The woman tells me with a straight face (it was actually a mean, nasty and incredibly rude face) that she would neither refund my money or exchange it for a properly working device because I had put it in my mouth. I was pretty much dumbfounded at that point (I am a regular customer at this store btw, scratch that, i WAS a regular customer) I asked politely although somewhat shocked "How exactly does one know if a vape works or not WITHOUT putting it in one's mouth"?????!!!!!! Are you kidding me right now? It's literally impossible to know if a product like a vape works without the act of putting the thing in one's mouth. She said it can't be returned under any circumstances because they could not sell it after it touched my lips. This is hilarious and absolutely RIDICULOUS because the clear implication is that they would attempt to re-sell a product that i was demonstrating with all certainty to these folks that this particular vape DID NOT WORK. DEFECTIVE! ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. At this point i am pissed. This store does not have any No Return Policy or anything like that. What kind of store doesn't at the very least offer an exchange for defective products. Especially something that i had purchased and determined DID NOT WORK and come back in to exchange all in a span of 2 minutes. I should mentiobn that the defective vape was the last one in their inventory. The same company makes a smaller model that they selll for $7.00. Fine, I'll take that one, i will gladly take a loss of 7 bucks, just give me a product THAT ACTUALLY FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. Nope, she acted like i was trying to kidnap her firstborn child or something. Mean, spiteful and horribly rude woman. Finally she called the manager and after a 10 minute conversation, finally agreed to exchange the bum vape for one of the smaller, cheaper versions, "so i would just leave" she said. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE human being this woman is and absolutely horrible customer service. Do not patronize this shitty, awful place. Garbage people selling garbage products. read more
