Came to this store a couple of years ago and they were friendly, helpful, and willing to adjust some pricing depending upon how much money you spent. Today I stopped in to take a quick look at the "Pax Plus" and observed they were priced at $399.00! The Pax website has the very same kit for $200 with FREE shipping. Mentioned this to the staff, and the only remark made was, "I don't set the prices. The prices are given to me." Apparently, there are only giant price gouges, and absolutely nothing even close to pricing you can get online. Good luck selling that kit at DOUBLE COST for a dry herb vaporizer. Who in the world would pay double? Not me. Price gouging like that won't get me coming back there anytime soon. read more

I have been coming to this vape shop off and on for years. I'm not a heavy vapor and a 5000 puff can usually last me three weeks or more if the are rechargeable. Im not sure if the I see new ownership or what but I'm always looking for a really good grape flavor and was recommended the the Mike Tyson grape was really good. They are 7000 puffs rechargeable after a week mine starting hitting on its own on my dresser and if I would try to get a puff it wouldn't work. So I took it back and it took me a while as I don't live are there side of town. She said she would give me another one at "cost" $16 which I was ok with because of my delay in getting it back to the store. They assured me that this wasn't a known issue so I gave the same grape Mike Tyson a try because the flavor is really good. So less then a week after I got the second one it started to do the same exact thing. This time I drove out to the store that day and even had video of what was happening. One of the staff members kinda let it slip that it must be a bad batch. I'm assuming because I'm not the only on with this issue. I thought for sure this time they would just swipe it out for like $5 as it only worked for a few days. Instead I was told I could get a measley 15% off and when I said I'd do the two for $36 deal of the elf bars which are only 5000 puffs each, I was told that I could get 15% off one device or pay the full price for the buy two deal. The elfbar deal is two for $36 and I walked out of the store paying $36.75 so I'm not sure where the deal came in. It's just very unprofessional to not stand behind your products and down right dirty to sell a product you know is defective. I would understand there no return or exchange policy if I just didn't like the flavor but my device was defective and that should always warrant a return. Not coming here anymore and it's sad because I referred a lot of people to them. read more

I have purchased a total of four mods from this store . Each time I had to make multiple trips , with the battery was missing , the wrong amount of batteries given . The wrong type of juice sold for the mod . The latest that is making me write a complaint is I bought a Smok with the 3 batteries as a gift . No batteries given , stop in given 2 batteries, went home and opened and found it takes 3 batteries. Then go to multiple vape stores in Chicago and they test the batteries. They are after market and low quality. Only one of three were taking a charge . My advice if you want it done right the first time avoid this store read more

Complete garbage management. The two women that were working here and were extremely short and condescending to me. I just wanted recommendations on a fruity sativa flour to purchase and she told me I should know what I want before I come in. Of course, I guess she has a point but seriously? You can't expect your customers to know everything before they come in. What if they want to try something new they see in the shop and want to ask you what it's like? Warning: long (but detailed) review!! Service has just been very industrial, corporate, owner agenda lately. In the past years I would go up to the Brookfield location with a huge group of friends and we'd spend upwards of $300 on hooka products, mods, tanks, juice, coils, cigs, etc. and then hang around and relax at the lobby and talk with the employees, or other customers at the bar. We'd spend hours there, and of course the longer we sat, the more we'd buy, so it's not like we were just wasting employee time we'd usually walk out collectively with about 50lbs worth of vape accessories and about $1000 lighter in our pockets by the end of a Friday night when we would stay longer than usual. But now I'll go in and it almost feels like I'm rushed to find my juice, or mod, or anything and buy it and get out, not very welcoming anymore. But the thing that bothers me most is the employees lack of care for customers, yes they know what they're talking about, they know their jobs. But when asked a question they give dry answers that sound quoted from a manual or a quick search on google. Their answers aren't wrong, but if I ask you a question I don't want to hear the description off the back of the box. It helps a lot more when you give me your experience with the mod itself if you have any or know anyone, and of course I understand not everyone does have experience with all mods, but out of all those mods and you don't have a personal preference of juice, tank, ecig? Nothing? You can't give me a hint at what juice you might think works best with a certain ohm coil or what mods might burn a little warmer for my preference that I've told you about? It's just overall a disappointing, dry, and pretty much boring trip. I've been to many vape shops in the area and I always preferred Smoke World because of atmosphere and prices (despite all of this they do offer some nice deals and discounts, including the smoke world t-shirt deal). Now though, I'll pay an extra $20 for a mod if it means I get better tips, advice, and an overall customer experience. If I wanted to be rushed out the door to buy things, I'd go to a gas station and buy a juul. If you want a place that considers its customers opinions and gives good advice, go to Hugh G. Vapes in Mequon. It isn't the biggest most luxurious store around but they'll even go as far as to bash their own products if it means giving you the best product for you specifically after actually listening to your preferences. read more
