The other evening I had popped in with a friend after noticing their place earlier while I passed it as I made my way home from doing some errands. They have a nice and spacious lot to park in and the entrance is tidy and easy to access. When you enter the shop, it is an open floor plan with an impressive selection of pieces, products, smoking accessories, and vapes to check out if I hadn't come so close to closing. I'll be sure to give myself some extra time to look around the next time I go. My friend and I were both kindly greeted by the salesperson right when we had stepped in. He was due to ask if we'd needed help finding anything and if there were any questions he could answer for us. He was extremely kind and fun, and we chatted a bit following my purchase as we both checked out the store's products and pieces. I praise his quickness in finding what I was looking for and making sure I had everything I needed. I was also pleasantly surprised of the amount for what I had bought, was it was much cheaper than I expected. While checking out, the worker (sorry I am so bad at names) had asked if we'd visited the store before and I said we hadn't, he offered to sign me up for the rewards program if I would like to. I said why not, and he then explained how it works and the details it of what the offered. I appreciate the customer service I was provided and how kind and helpful he was; he got me signed up quickly and said a goodbye to us as we finished looking around and headed towards the door. I totally recommend The Smoke Shop Guys if you're looking for smoking pieces, smoking accessories, disposable and reusable vapes, and more along with a well kept store and good customer service. Will be sure to check them out again!

On the bus, it's a straight shot down Division, hang out around Harrison/Division in the afternoon. I remember feeling super cool getting carded and peering around at the anal bead necklaces casually hanging on the wall, marveling at the full custom gas mask pipe in a lit case on the wall, and finally settling on a zippo, a shuriken, and a butterfly knife while my friends picked up decorative dried floral arrangements of salvia and Black Death cigarettes. A trip wouldn't be complete without stopping by Gross Out to pick up junk food and a jug of Carlo Rossi for the party that will inevitably happen later. Such a rite of passage. Oly did not reliably have a club scene and there was no Greek row (thankfully) but we did have Tony's Sin Bin and mostly co-ed dorms, and that was pretty cool.

He ended up switching shops to work for South Sound Vapor Lounge. On first impression, the staff is very friendly. The shop is big and definitely has the lounge feel. The selection of juice isn't my favorite, but I'm pretty picky. The mod selection is real nice. First stop in there and I picked up a brand new rig. Unfortunately it had a manufacturer defect, but the owners took top notch care of it. They contacted the builder and even offered a loaner mod while resolving with the builder. The owners personally apologized and worked to solve the problem. This is a shop that values its customer base. I won't mention the old shops name, but that owner was a greedy prick. South Sound Vapor Lounge is A+
