To our surprise there was no lines, no one sitting at any tables inside and the patio was clearing out as well. Only the patio near the ice cream window was a bit crowded. We tried to place an order for 4 of us but were warned there was a 45 min-1 hour wait for our food due to the preceding online orders. What??? While the servers quickly offered ( & handed us) 1 order within minutes (clam cakes & chowder), we wanted to all eat at the same time and politely refused at that time. A manager(?) came out to reiterate the delay after a hushed discussion among he and 2 servers. They tried again to offer chowder and clam cakes which we again asked to have served all at once. As we stood there we tried to say this was quite odd that we had no priority based on their process. No comments. We did order dinner as had no other options at that point. We did wait for about 20-25 mins. Only 3 of the 4 orders were served together. The 4th dinner came 5 mins later after we asked for it. I think a show of good faith may have been an offer of onion rings for our table or at least an offer of a lemonade or tea for all. Management needs to help their staff manage the live audience a bit better. Hoping next year is better for all customers.

The fries have changed from the old steak fries to a thinner cut, but everything was hot, fresh and still very fairly priced for Cape Cod. Crazy that it's been almost a decade because it honestly felt like we were just here.

Drinks are delicious - the Chatham rose is quite good, but there are plenty of wine options on the menu either by the glass or bottle. This year, I also noticed quite a few non-alcoholic wines and beers (more than usual). Service is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you have menu questions or tweaks. I'm not sure they can make every change to a menu item possible, but they will try their best. At the beginning of the 'season' in summer, there are often team members learning, but I've never noticed a drop off in service at all. Honestly, the main reason I would come back here is for the view. The setting is beautiful, especially being right by the beach, but in my opinion, the food is pretty subpar. Come for the views, not necessarily for the food.
