The rest of the night goes down in history as one of the best adventures ever. Specialty cocktails by the owner/ bartender better than mixologists we've tried in Manhattan. The menus are beautifully designed and the atmosphere gets better and better as the night grows later. Thank you for the hospitality and memories. We hope we can make a return trip someday.

A hidden jewel to say the least. I've drank all over the world at some of the best cocktail bars,…read morethis place can definitely keep up with the rest of them. I stayed longer than I normally do to sample more, in total I had three drinks. One off the menu and two on the menu. Both owners really know their stuff and speak a fair bit of English. Light My Fire was the real star of what I had for the night. It was bursting with vanilla and pomegranate. This place is definitely punching above its weight class and is a fine fit in the beautiful city of Verona. Also, the price is amazing for the quality of the drinks. €20 for three NYC caliber cocktails. I'd be $50ish dollars poorer in NYC for lesser cocktails.

Admittedly, we came here because of Master of None (seems like we're doing a Master of None Modena…read moretour). I swear I'm not a huge groupy - it was just easier to go to already vetted places. Wines by the glass for €6-10 with a good selection of bubbles, whites, and reds. They also had some Italian traditional cocktails and then some more intriguing stuff like a tequila based negroni. We decided to stick with wines before dinner. - Brut rose: not too sweet - Montepulciano: my favorite - House made beer with sea salt: unique with a hint of salt They brought us complimentary crudités (carrots and pickles), focaccia, and crackers, which was really nice. We also ordered some olives. Everything came in really pretty dishes that reminded me of stuff used for high tea. There's a cute patio outside, and there are small tables inside. Service was patient and friendly. It has a very relaxed vibe, and you just get the sense that other patrons there are all just in a good mood. Also, I love the wall of shelves of wine scattered with some books (I dream of having something like this in my house one day). It was a super cute place for a drink before dinner. I would happily come back.
