Only reason we paid is because we didn't want to go to Walgreens and risk them being out and having to go back. I understand littler shops need to charge more but just making up prices on the spot when items aren't labed is bad business practice because it means they can take advantage of whoever they want whenever they want. So I went in yesterday and picked up another bag and told the young men that it felt dry through the bag, as it was crunching when I squeezed it. A previous time. When I had gone in, another employee told me that they kept more bags in the back near the humidifier, and it kept them more moist. I asked this young man yesterday if he could go in the back and look, and he guaranteed me. It would be of the same quality and that this bag was fresh and moist. I asked him if he could go check please, and instead he routed through the bags upfront to demonstrate to me what a dry bag felt like. Well, I just open the bag of the "fresh and moist" tobacco, and it is very dry and difficult to roll. When I called him just now, he said there was no recourse now that the bag is opened. So I just wasted $46 on tobacco and a box of tubes. Very disappointed and quite frankly quite upset.

However, I was unfamiliar w/ the prices of bulk tobacco because it was my first time purchasing the product. I was charged $27 for a 6oz bag of Gambler brand, almost $30 higher than another store charged for same. Pressed for time and need, I went a second time. They wanted $40 for 8oz same brand cig tobacco. The salesman, possibly the owner, admitted he charged $10 more for profit. In addition to tax & a 4% non cash fee for using a debit credit card. The latter charge is illegal in the state of CT (ct.gov). I didn't realize I was charged this extra non cash fee til home. Disappointed. Cloud9 is in a great location but be prepared to pay extra for this convenience. Knowing my poor planning, I'll probably still shop there, unless they get mad at me for posting an honest review.
