Awesome food and service! Miranda is a great server. The homemade soups are tasty and the beer is cold. Too bad it isn't patio season yet.

I don't know if he's the cook or the bartender or the manager. I had to pay $12 for a lousy little salad that was nothing but the spines of a romaine lettuce and 4 thin slices of cucumber. Nice decor but the food stinks

The server had the list that I had emailed in upon confirming the attendees. Reservation was for 6:30, we were all there between 6:20 and 6:30. We waited a substantial length of time for our drink orders to be taken. And it was almost 7:30 before our meals were brought out. We were not offered coffee and desserts did not arrive in time so some of our party had already left. When the bills came out, the majority were incorrect. Mine had my meal and the customer next to me. But prior to the bills coming out I needed to go find our server, which meant going to the bar area and asking if anyone knew where she was. We did not finish the payment process well as it took over 40 minutes for the server to re-do all of the bills. Really is disappointing as we had a lot of out of province guests as well as some from the States! Our dog club, Red River Terrier Association, does a lot of club events, but due to the bad service, we will not be using or recommending Gaffers!

My husband and I ate here the night before an early morning flight because we didn't feel like dealing with an Uber after checking into our hotel. We expected convenience. Instead, we ended up having one of the best dinners of our entire trip. The service was warm, friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced. We never felt rushed, which made for a relaxing evening before a travel day. My husband and I both ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken was tender and flavorful, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. My sister ordered the Pickerel Provençal, and my brother-in-law had the Braised Beef Short Ribs. Everyone at the table raved about their meal, and each dish was beautifully presented. The wine list was also much better than we expected, with plenty of choices to complement dinner. I kept saying to myself, "I can't believe I'm eating this well at an airport hotel restaurant!" If you're staying at the Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel--or even if you're just looking for a great meal near the airport--don't overlook Blue Marble. We'd happily come back, even if we weren't staying at the hotel.

Closing out #leburgerweekwpg on a high note with one of the best dining experiences of my life…read more(seriously!) @raesbistro Not only was the food phenomenal but the service was top notch! We had the "Rae's BBBQ Burger... The Extra B Stands For BBrisket". A juicy 6oz. fresh all beef patty topped with two strips of Rae's signature thick cut maple bacon and a whopping 4oz. of Canadian BBQ beef brisket, smothered in velvety basil horseradish cheese sauce, served on a buttery toasted pretzel bun with grainy Dijon aioli, red onion, tomato, butter leaf lettuce and tangy house made bread and butter pickles. Damn it was gooooood! Messy but SO worth it! Ask for extra napkins cuz you'll need 'em! Shoestring fries lightly salted and crispy! For appetizers we had the Beet Chips tossed in Rosemary sea salt with caramelized onion goat cheese dip and a Chorizo dip made with spinach, artichokes and 3 cheeses served with grilled flat bread! Now can we have a minute to talk about this Chorizo Dip?? TO DIE FOR! Hands down one of the best things I've ever eaten. I want that at my last supper! Order it! I'm telling you it will change your life! ... and how could we leave without having one of their desserts?? We had the Pumpkin Caramel Cheesecake! Pure Bliss on a plate! The graham cracker crumb is more like a ginger snap cookie taste. Light and not too sweet! The caramel topping added just the right amount of sweet to balance the tartness of the cheesecake. A home run! Impressed to see the owners & managers pitching in bussing tables, taking orders, and checking in on patrons. 5/5 's for the food & service! #YumYumWpg #raesbistro #raesbistroandlounge #Winnipeg #leburgerweekwpg #eatlocal #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocalbusiness #AdventuresOfWendyAndShae @ Rae's Bistro + Lounge

I was coming home with two friends after a day at Bird's Hill Park, and decided to stop by here so I can try here for the first time. The ambiance here is quite upscale with the lighting inside. I had the seafood linguine, which came with a garlic toast. It was really good, though at a slightly elevated price. I would say for the north half of the city, this is the best upscale cuisine. However, I would rank this below Cafe Carlo and Tre Visi. Not to take away anything from here though, it's still a great place to dine. Service was excellent throughout here.

Greeting was very pleasant and they sat a group of 8 immediately. The waitperson was quite knowledgeable about local brews, and since I'm a local brew fan anywhere I go, opted for a double IPA that ended up being really good. Other folks had a single IPA, lagers, wine, etc. The menu is quite eclectic, with items ranging from the Filipino-infused Shanghai Lumpia, to soup and salad, to Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I wasn't particularly hungry and I thought their "appetizer" menus would be small dishes, and treated ordering like tapas, asking for a small plate of lumpia and a small plate of chicken tenders.... Oh well.... I get an entire dinner plate of lumpia and a full basket of chicken tenders, French fries and vegetables.... I left stuffed. Service was superb. Even asking for separate checks for the entire party, our waitperson didn't flinch an eye. Superb service, great food and good company.
