As far as I can remember, it was just like walking into a sweet shop as there was such a variety of bicycles to choose from. It is not like one of those big stores where you seem a bit lost because at Oban Cycles, it feels more personal when the shop owner greets you and provides priceless tips and advice for your knowledge. Staff are not there just to sell quality brands of bikes but also to carry out repairs and sell all the necessary equipment you'll need to maintain your bike and stay safe on the roads (e.g. helmets). Also to mention, they even sell scooters! The service in general is very good. Staff definitely know their trade and you can put your trust in them. If you're after a decent bike, there's a great chance you can find the perfect one at Oban's at affordable prices.

The service in here is first class, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They had it for over a week because they claimed they were ordering 'parts'. When I dropped by to pick it up I found they hadn't replaced any of the things they said they would and just tightened up a few things here and there - things I didn't ask for and could have done myself. Bike is still unrideable and they charged me £30 for the privilage and had the gall to say they saved me money! Never again. If you want anything beyond an innertube don't bother with these jokers.
