I reviewed this place the other day on the basis of going in really not very long ago; I went in today and it's all changed! So, an up-to-the-minute review: Smith and Mann is still named that, but it's now a Budgens store. I remember this chain as being a bit downmarket, but this little store is still lovely in its new guise, in fact even nicer. It's fresh and light, still well organised and well stocked. The meat/cheese counter looks good, and it now has lots of fruit and veg! The bread looked really good, and I overheard another customer saying how good the bread was. read more
