It's very cosy and can get a little cramped and short of chairs if you arrive too late on a busy night and arent happy to share a table with people you havent yet met, but i think that actually adds positively to the experience in a strange sort of way. Got revamped a few years ago, which was done really well and has managed to modernise it whilst actually adding to the character of the place. The live music is also really lovely. Good music, good beer, good staff, and good atmosphere... perfect. If you only go to one pub in Aber, let this be it!

It's got everything you could want in a bar, plenty of different drinks, lots of pool tables and a big screen to watch the sport. Unfortunately because it's such a nice place to go, it can get rather busy later in the night. Seating can be hard to find and getting on a pool table can be almost impossible. A great place to go in aberystwyth before you go to a club later in the night.

This is a great place for food (a lot cheaper than it was when it first opened), a decent pint or even 241 cocktails. I had the cajun chicken burger which was great, big portion size, fresh ingredients and was on my table pretty promptly. The management seem to know their student market with decent offers and a good selection of booze. The pub is across two floors, sitting upstairs near one of the old feature windows is great for people watchers like me.
