My visit to Smiles On The Hudson was 10/10. From greeting me at the door, to the x-rays, to the scans, the cleaning, and the check-up, you can tell everyone working were wholesome and personable. The attention to detail is excellent. The cleaning was very thorough and very gentle, no picking/poking/stabbing whatsoever. The check-up with Dr. Kim was quick and painless and I was in and out of there. Their new patient special is very doable since I don't have dental insurance (dreaded going to the dentist just for that factor). They have payment plans available to those who need it too. Dentist offices get a bad rep, but if dentist offices were like Smiles On The Hudson, that rep wouldn't exist. read more

Don't waste your time or Enegy! Don't GO! Dr. Minel Simo is not a dentist of her word, she said free xrays & then the office billed my insurance. Free consultation for invisalign, but they need to check bone health. When I refused the x rays, Dr. Minel Simo offered the xrays for FREE. Then I found out they submitted a claim to my dental plan for $290. Is that free?? I called the office, the billing person is out? The office said my dental was covered when in reality only one Dentist is covered not event the hygienist. I had to dispute the claim with my insurance. I tried calling the NJ & NY office, it is still not being addressed one week in a half later. read more

Amber does a superb job running the office..., Adriana, Caroline and the rest of the staff have been a pleasure to deal with, addressing any issue with my insurance. I had the worst experience with the Billing Dept and the person Carolina really pissed me off. I had a procedure done and the dentist never told me what was being done. My insurance was already max out since my employment was terminated from Covid. The extra $800 threw me off guard when I got the bill. I've complained and later Carolina said it was to be removed. Everything was noted in the computer as the receptionist read it to me over the phone. 8 months later I get a bill for $800 n she said she's waiting for my insurance to cover part of it. She seem to forget our conversation unless COVID affected her memory. I don't know what kind of business "smile on the hudson" is running and they are 2 face !!! I was in a horrible situation in which caused me to lose my two front teeth. Smiles on the Hudson is a BUSY practice and for good reason. The manager Diana is very accommodating, the assistant Farrah has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered in my life. The Doctor who will be doing my crowns has amazing bedside manner and you can tell he truly cares about his patients and is very honest. I would pick them for sure ! read more

Dr. Roytberg is the best dentist ever, not only he is amazing but he is one of the nicest dentist I have ever met. The problem is the billing office, I have two insurance and I have been doing a lot of work. I plan the work to be done on the effective periods of the two insurance, I pay a deposit and then usually it is well calculated so that I don't owe anything after the insurance. But the billing service has gone downhill, when the insurance does not pay because they need more information, they don't call the insurance back, I have to send emails to remind them to get paid etc. then on my last work scheduled I got charged (after insurance) double what I had paid for a previous set of caps. I don't get a bill with information, they expect me to review my EOB and tell them what I owe, I just get an email with this is what you owe, not bill, nothing. I have no problme paying what I owe, but I do have a problem when things are not transparent and I don't know what I am paying for. I am in need for some work now but until this is resolved I have to do something else. And I really, really don't want to change doctors. He is fantastic. And their employees at the desk, the hygenist are wonderful. read more
