My visit was for a "second opinion" Dr. Silva "saved" My tooth and enabled Me to be able to get a crown, instead of having it pulled which was the recommendation of My old dentist. They treat you like a friend or family here from the moment You walk in! Staff was extremely attentive and highly skilled. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise of the hygienist working on my crown. She was also incredibly kind. You get what You pay for. Make sure You check with insurance before booking a procedure. This office uses state of the art technology. If you just need "routine" dental care may not be your place. But for fillings and crowns, they are top of the line. I am so thanful I called their office! At my first visit, I explained my symptoms, but I was told that nothing appeared to be wrong. I trusted that assessment. A few months later, the pain became unbearable, so I returned. During that visit, the X-rays clearly showed that I had a missing filling on the very tooth that had been causing me pain. Instead of carefully reviewing the X-rays or listening to my concerns, the dentist immediately dismissed my pain by saying it was probably because I have braces. The problem with that explanation is that the X-ray clearly showed the missing filling. I had to point it out myself. As a patient, I shouldn't have to convince my dentist to look at what's right in front of them. I came in because I was in excruciating pain, and instead of feeling heard or cared for, I felt dismissed and rushed. What bothered me even more was the attitude I received after I questioned the explanation. Rather than taking a moment to reevaluate the X-rays or acknowledge my concerns, the interaction became defensive. Patients should never feel like they're being difficult simply for advocating for themselves. Dentistry is about more than fixing teeth--it's about listening to patients, taking their concerns seriously, and providing compassionate care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Because of the lack of attentiveness, professionalism, and compassion I experienced, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I sincerely hope this office takes patient concerns more seriously in the future so others don't leave feeling as unheard as I did.

GF had taken her kids and been seen by Dr. Jeff on two separate occasions, but it took their office (who only has this one horrible lady managing their insurance claims) SIX MONTHS to INCORRECTLY bill the COPAY at $1800! For reference, the GF's insurance caps in-network dentistry copay at $75; but this lady has the audacity to turn a customer away from a scheduled visit because she TOO LAZY to pick up the phone and confirm with the company on the CONTRACTUAL amount their office agreed to charge to get business from this insurance's clients! So this secretary "guestimates (her words)" the the GF needs to pay $200 before she'll let her see the dentist! My partner questioned best business practice and asked for verification of the amount, that got refused. GF starts getting heated and asks to speak directly with the doctor ("Maybe the Doc values his business more than this lady does"), so the secretary refused service and asked her to leave. My GF questioning this lady almost went "Full Karen" trying to get straightforward answers on why the bills/copays were so drastically different on paper. Currently, she's in tears having lost a dentist that actually accommodated both her and her children. DO NOT give this office business with a face like this. That lady's got to go.

One thing I cannot understand is how they can remember me from one appointment to the next. I do regular 6 month checkups and never need anything more, yet the receptionists know me when I walk in. At this new practice it always feels rushed and the treatment reflects that. I've basically begged for help for a year over multiple appointments to deal with teeth pain and bad taste I had around implants. Multiple x rays were taken across two trips from what I recall, and kept being told I was all good. Eventually I had to assume they didn't know what they were talking about or just didn't want to deal with it so I went out for other opinions because they just wouldn't help me get to the cause. And this wasn't severe pain and I wasn't looking for pain treatment, I just wanted to fix the tooth and get rid of the taste I knew wasn't right. After seeing another dentist, an oral surgeon, and a prosthodontist I can assure you there was a lot wrong for quite awhile. Some of these other dentist have much nicer x rays and technology but they said even with older machines it should have been clear. But because I had waited too long to see them I am now looking at implant removal, maybe two of them, and then bone grafts to rebuild and then hopefully a reinstall of implant(s). I'm seeing multiple specialist because some want to pull one implant and some want to pull both because of how bad it got. Then I have to explain I haven't been ignoring my teeth, have been going in for cleaning every 6 months, and have specifically brought up there area in question for over a year and for some reason, the dental professional I put my faith and money into, steered me completely wrong and then wouldn't even return my calls since all this. Don't worry though I paid that last bill you were able to send even though my calls and voicemails were ignored. Do yourself a favor, protect your teeth and your own wellbeing and see someone who has the time, skills, and technology to get yourself treated correctly.

The smells of the office, the pain, the condescending remarks about my teeth, the anxiety about where the money will come from. Anything and everything about even considering visiting a dentist makes me want to take a double dose of xanax. After visiting a few dentist with no such luck in the past 2 years I asked my doctor who I trust immensely if he had any recommendations and he gave me Dr. Zora Hanko's name/number. It took me a few days to finally call but when I did I was surprised that i was almost immediately put at ease by the incredibly kind receptionist. I briefly told her my concerns and the level of anxiety I generally have and she actually listened, took note and genuinely seemed to care. This morning I woke up 4 hours before my appointment due to an already increased build up of anxiety. It turns out none of this anxiety was necessary. After sitting in the waiting room for only about 5 minutes I was brought back to the exam room by the dental hygienist. I can not remember her name but she was so sweet and kind. Then Dr. Hanko came in and since she knew how anxious I was, instead of getting straight to work she sat down next to the chair and asked me to tell her about my self, what my concerns with my teeth are and what she could do to make my appointments easier. When I was giving her my information she listened, asked questions when necessary and not once made me feel judged. Then she asked if she could take a look in my mouth. Part way through her examining my teeth I realized for the first time ever I was sitting in a dentist chair and NOT shaking with anxiety. I left the appointment with a plan of action for my crazy teeth, another appointment and absolutely no anxiety in sight. Best. Feeling. Ever.
