Really cool service to have in Des Moines! Smile Lab DSM is based on Valley West Road. And in 15 minutes you can have a brighter whiter smile! Shelana the owner is super sweet. They also have a location in Davenport where Jen is the owner. I got to meet them both. It's really fun to see the process done first hand and to see how fast and easy it is. They use light technology and gels. And boom 15 minutes to a half hour later, you look like you drank less coffee than you actually have! I have a new porcelain tooth and the owner Shelana was honest with me and said this process would not enhance a porcelain tooth, but you could lightly do your other teeth. I can't wait to come back from more, I have hard to whiten teeth because of my tooth enamel, so it makes it hard to brighten and I am also sensitive, this wasn't painful and it didn't make my teeth and gums feel sensitive. I went here around a month ago. They have you apply the gel yourself, which I found a bit odd, but it wouldn't bother me if it worked. My teeth didn't whiten at all - the before and after pictures looked exactly the same. I was hopeful and waited to see if it needed time to "set in" - no luck. I understand this isn't a guarantee for everyone, but contacting the place after the fact was impossible - when I tried to contact Shalena about a refund, she ignored two emails and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone, or call me back after leaving a voicemail. I'm super disappointed, especially with the terrible customer service. I do not recommend. read more

Check these guys out if you need a bit more shine on those dingy teeth! It's not like teeth whitening in the "old days", with the overnight trays and nasty residue in your mouth. It is more cost effective and takes just 30 minutes each whitening session. read more

I bought a groupon for $70 without doing any research. My teeth are somewhat white afterwards, but I get the same effect using at home treatments that are far cheaper. Similar lights and trays with hydrogen peroxide are available on Amazon for around $15. read more
