That was a waste over 12k, and now I'm horrified by the way my ears look. I would also note Dr. Carlisle did an upper bleph on me before he joined Koch & Carlisle, and it left horrible scarring. I was allergic to the sutures they used, I had even complained to his nurse at the time who told me just to stop using some ointment I had been prescribed. I did, but turns out it was from the sutures. Dr. Carlisle had gone on vacation after this was done, so hence the lack of after care. Anyway. Two bad experiences from two different providers. I would not recommend.

My first visit to this location today with my girlfriend. We had booked an appointment a couple of…read moredays ago by phone to get pedicures. We were greeted immediately and sat in the large leather seats (with personal back massager) after picking out a color from the large assortment of options. They were busy due to homecoming this weekend, but everyone was very polite. The owner introduced herself and there was a variety of different people and ages there being assisted. I was left to soak for about 10 minutes while my attendant finished the nails of another customer, but I was not in a hurry so I was fine waiting. One reason I do not frequent nail salons, is because of some bad experiences I have had in the past with the place not being clean or having the attendants speak their own language very loudly the entire time (and it seemed like they were talking about their customers too). Well, each of the attendants spoke English at Tips & Toes and occasionally spoke Vietnamese between themselves. I never had the feeling they were talking poorly about anyone and I had a fun time visiting with my friend and my attendant Anna in a clean environment. I even decided to get a manicure at the last minute and I am looking forward to returning for my touch ups. Even my honey said my nails look great. If you are looking for a nice local place to do your nails, give TIPS & TOES SALON a try.

This time some started to peel within days. I wanted them to last till Halloween so i went back to get that rectified but wanted a jelly pedicure n that was awesome. But when i mentioned the finger nail peels n showed them to her, Annie's face (the owner) changed from :) to :( i told her that im no expert but i think it was incorrect to file the edges after the top coat was applied because top coat seals everything n prevents peeling. Close to the final stage of top of the line pedicure, Annie came up to the chair armed with the nail lamp n stripper. She stripped the affected peeled parts only. Then she applied the dust n applied lamp heat. U can still see the peels under the poor excuse of rectifications. Half ass done to a $60 manicure. I tip very well for my vanity privileges. I also recalled having my nails done at the pedicure chair when i wanted a regular polish. When fingernails are shaped n painted while in a pedicure chair, it doesnt give good results. When u are a service business, u will get unsatisfied customers. Practice giving sincere apologies even if u question in your mind that the customer may have caused the bad nail polish results. Annie doesnt apologize. U see her :) when customers arent troublesome. I guarantee u that no one wants to b troublesome but i paid for top of the line pedicure AND manicure. I expect the BEST. DEFINITELY WONT GO BACK. No loss to her im sure.

The owner Porsha moved my appointment under someone with less experience with even asking me. The new person was warm and had a professional manner yet based on my reaction to the facial, she lacked in skills. Hence why I booked the owner, to ensure it would be done correctly. I reached out to the owner with my symptoms of redness, itchy dry skin, and swelling and asked her to cancel my follow-up appointment, I'm to work from home this week and seek additional dr visit for care of symptoms. Porsha responded blaming it on my skin or pollen. She stated that she blocked me from further booking appointments because I questioned if her staff was licensed? Yet the only plaques in the room for licensing were hers. The main reason why I gave her 1 star is that she was blaming, defensive and rude. She offered zero empathy or tips on dealing with complications post treatment. Beware and always pick a licensed establishment when doing facials. Your face deserves the best care!
