The whole office is very clean. The waiting room has books, toys and some arcade games as well as a tv. They were very quick and did an ice breaker with my toddler to get his nerves down. They cleaned his teeth gently and fast. He was given a squeaky rubber duck toy at the end. The attitude of all employees is wonderful. Will definitely keep coming here. read more

Today was our 3rd visit and I am glad I chose them for my children's dentist! It was my daughters first time getting X-rays done on her teeth... and she was not having it. The staff was so understanding and caring about her behavior, I felt terrible but they kept reassuring me that it was okay and that we would try again at the next visit. They did great with both my 3 year old and 1 year old with engaging with them before and after their cleanings. I have recommended them before in the past and will continue to do so! read more

I love this dentist, this is the only dentist I have ever brought either of my kids to and the care you receive here is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the dentist on hand, he's informative, personable and kind. It's also worth noting that my children enjoy coming here and he's great getting them comfortable to check out their mouths. Been coming here a few years now and I have kids on the spectrum, Dr agave is the only reason my daughter cooperates and doesn't scream. He's so patient, calm, gentle and has a way of explaining everything to the kids so they can feel calm and have complete trust with him. This is the only dentist I will take my kids to, he truly has a gift for working with kids. My daughter is 14 and terrified of needles and she didn't even know he was numbing her. My wife, and my five years old son use medical transportation to make it to a doctors appointment and the transportation was late only 20 minutes. It was not her order for the doctor made my wife wait for 4 hours to see my the doctor Unbelievable. And the staff they were not helping wall I request to speak to the doctor and they refused, and I request to speak to the supervisor or manager, they refuse and you call that's a good customer service? Is it because she's from different culture treating her that way, I will never go back there again. I will not recommend this office. read more

Smile Explorers goes above and beyond to make going to the dentist feel like a trip to Disney for kids from the minute you walk in. The front desk staff and hygienists are warm and friendly and have done an awesome job at making my toddler feel comfortable with such an unfamiliar experience. The waiting room has a giant airplane hanging from the ceiling and an old school arcade machine that the kids can play for free while they wait. We've also never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment, so they clearly do a great job with scheduling. The exam rooms are decorated with huge murals and they've rewarded my daughter with fun little prizes throughout her appointments to keep her excited, like a balloon animal, a rubber duck, the typical toothbrush/toothpaste, and a coin to put in the prize machine after her appointment was finished. The last hygienist we saw was so wonderful at building trust with my 2 year old that she managed to keep her calm and happy enough to get through an entire cleaning and x-rays, which to my knowledge isn't an easy feat for that age. I admittedly didn't have the best first impression of Dr. Dave on our very first visit, but I'm so glad that we gave Smile Explorers another chance because our last three visits with him have been great. I took my daughter in today , she just turned one and it was her first appointment, the staff was super nice and sweet , and the dentist was amazing and so sweet with my daughter who was nervous and scared for her first visit. Staff was great but the dentist who treated my daughter annoyed me with his questions. I was expecting them but I was hoping they wouldn't come. (The judgy ones: do you give your child lots of juice or milk at night?) no I do not. Dr. Dave was incredible with our 12 month old daughter. Office and staff were welcoming and so nice. Front desk nurse asked what our daughter liked to watch on tv and put Coco on for her with made her feel right at home. They made check in process so easy and really gave us a great first impression! Dr. Dave showed us how to properly brush and care for our daughter's teeth. He went into details and explained questions we had. He was both personal and professional. Of course she cried when Dr. Dave was cleaning her teeth and checking her but he did an excellent job handling a squirmy toddler! As first time parents you never know what to expect but Smile Explorers exceeded our expectations. We have grown children, one daughter having her own son. We'd seen Smile Explorers in the neighborhood, never thinking we'd have a need. Well, it turns out our grandson came to live with us for awhile and needed dental care. I immediately thought of his place I'd seen. I called and from the first call until the time we left our first visit, I felt so welcomed and everyone was so kind and caring. Getting the insurance sorted, making the appointment, paperwork once there--all very relaxed and no stress. The dental hygienist and dentist were definitely "all about kids" and made it inviting and informational. The decor is brightly colored and fun for kids. My grandson is 9 and they have a video game console, so he was sold the minute he saw that! Even though he has to go back for a cavity fill-it was so much fun, he is excited to go! They were absolutely fantastic!! Been here twice so far and I was impressed both times. From getting an appointment to the actual visit you can feel the care, I mean the lady was considering whether my kid still took naps and didn't want to disrupt his nap time. We were getting extractions done and the Dr was great. I have a hard time with my lil one cos he hates going to the Dr and always makes a fuss. So add his behavior to need a shot in his gums and you can have an idea of what the Dr was dealing with. Will definitely recommend them. read more

This is a little late...but better late than never! I can't thank Dr. Davie and Rosy enough for taking such great care of my son. We were in need of an emergent appointment in the middle of the ongoing pandemic and I was so worried. Dr. Davie and Rosy got my son scheduled immediately, provided instructions for precautions we would all take to keep everyone safe, and provided incredible care to my son. I went into the office at a 10 (the rate of my level of stress, uncertainty, and emotional mess.) I left the office at a 2 (only because he's my baby and still had healing to do.) My son is a regular patient of Smile Explorers so naturally he was excited to see Dr. Davie and visit the office. Despite the whole ordeal, my son handled the procedure perfectly and is healing great. Dr. Davie has answered every question I have had before, during, and after the procedure. Having a child is like having your heart running around on little legs and when mine was hurt, Dr. Davie was there to help mend him. Thank you again! Update: My son was working on a project which included what he wants to be when he grows up and he wants to be a dentist for kids. Dr. Dave is the dentist all of us wish we had as children...! As a New mother, with my own exhausted span of anxiety for dentists I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Dave literally talked so so sweet to my son the whole time, and made sure he was absolutely comfortable with the experience. The appointment followed with a sword balloon, and a coin for the toy machine.. He gave us insightful information on buildup on the back of my son's tongue, and how to distract him in order to brush it. Brought my son in at 1 year old for his 1st dentist check up and to start getting him/us to brushing his teeth and learning about baby dental care. He's now 2 and we visited yesterday for his 2nd visit. The Dentist warned us about the shaping of the pallet from the good ol' Binky and we're now going to ween him off. The staff at Smile Explorers are super friendly and talented! They gave him a gold coin for his dental visit that he used to purchase a bouncing ball from the machine in the front office and created a sword from a balloon which he loved. This was my one year old sons first dental appointment, and I am a dental assistant so i have knowledge in this field, my first impression of the office was excellent the office is full of color and very welcoming to children my son was excited to be In the office and I believe its important to get children comfortable with dentisty so they dont have fear going as an adult. The rooms are beautifully themed my son got a safari room he was pointing at everything. Dr. Dave was very comfortable with children you can tell hes passionate about his work, he sang to my son while he got a cleaning and my son stopped crying. What a great office! Friendly staff! My 3 year old son came for his first visit to a dentist and had a very positive experience. He was given a tablet in the waiting room by the staff so he could play games and stay occupied. Then, he got to take pictures of his teeth and the staff was very patient with him. He got to wear cool sunglasses while they cleaned his teeth so the bright exam light wouldn't bother him. He got to pick a cool prize when he was all done. He didn't cry the whole time until the very end and that was only because we were leaving and he wanted to stay! The visit couldn't have gone any better! Today was our first experience at Smile Explorers. We came here on a referral for a bad cavity. Right from walking it was an awesome experience! We were greeted by Kristen at the front desk, and this girl is on top of her stuff! Very sweet and courteous and went above and beyond for us. I even told her I was not very happy with my own dentist and she called a couple recommended ones to make sure they take my insurance and gave me the info. It was very nice of her. The dentist and all the hygienist and all the staff were awesome! Dr. Dave even invited me to look over his shoulder during the exam. Went over everything thoroughly, showed me X-rays, and made sure my son was comfortable with everything. Great entertainment in the waiting room.
