Unfortunately, I have just had a very distressing bad experience with Umer Hameed who is a junior dentist there.
He decided on his treatment plan and is not open to his patients needs. I had a broken front tooth and he fitted a temporary tooth (I had hoped it could stay in place with careful management till I went abroad for a crown and post.... a procedure he refused to do but 2 Hungarian and 1 Serbian dentist have confirmed are almost standard... build a core, fashion a post then place the crown) and the temporary tooth (NOT being used for chewing or biting) is now moving and needs replaced.
Today he didn't want to replace the temporary crown but wanted to remove the rest of my tooth from the gum (leaving me with a hole and wound) and then prepare me in some weeks for either a denture of some kind or an adhesive bridge. All of those options I told him were not for me but he was not prepared to remove this faulty temporary tooth and put another in place. I have a root canal filling under the broken tooth so mercifully I have no pain but now, due to Umer Hameed, I am in a position of compromised dental health.
This person is dismissive, impatient in manner and arrogant in conversation. He said I could consult his senior colleague but she would confirm all of his options and if I didn't like it I could walk. So.....
