I have made multiple calls to these people trying to get them to submit the bill to the correct payor. Obviously, they are not able to get it together. Now they have added it to my credit report! Now, the only thing I can do is get ugly with them in person. What is wrong with people these days? Don't they understand that with people they won't have a job? read more

I had surgery at Gulfport Memorial and verified my information with them was correct. Needless to say, I never got one single bill from SMB Radiology. In May I am routinely checking my credit report (as I do often) to see a collection on my credit report. I call these people and it is a collection agency. I verify my information with them, explain that I have never received a bill and that my insurance company should have paid their service in full. Well, the reason they didn't is because they didn't have my correct insurance information NOR my correct address NOR my correct phone number. Where they received this information from I have no idea. This company will be quick to ruin your credit if not paid in what they feel is a timely manner. I have since resolved this fiasco and finally after months and months received all my mony back that I paid and the collection agency DID remove it from my credit report since none of the information provided to them was correct in any way. read more

This "entity" is comprised of the most ignorant "people" I have ever seen. I had back surgery from Dr Wolfson with Memorial Hospital. The VA authorized and assured me in writing that I would not be responsible for any charges pertaining to this surgery. These "people" in spite of all the correspondence I sent them showing that the VA was responsible, continued to "code" their billing incorrectly that routed the billing through the Biloxi VA. The authorization clearly states to route the billing to the New Orleans VA. Consequently, the VA did not pay an $81.00 radiology bill until I got the mistake corrected so that this "entity" will get paid. In the mean time, this "entity" screwed up my otherwise perfect credit. I think these "brain dead" people should loose all the business they possibly can, since they deserve it. This could happen to you also. Their last "Warning" was dated 10/2/2015 and it gave me 15 days to pay or they would place this for collection. Today is 10/9/2015. This review is relevant describing the business decisions they make. I do not feel they are appropriate. read more

I have been in pain for a very long period of time and postponed my surgery until towards the end of hurricane season. This is my job as an emergency manager to help others too. I finally took time for myself and had the surgery and I must say the pain I have been enduring already feels much better now. His professional staff to include Dr. Leis, nurse Christy, NP Deborah and many more in the office have been very accommodating to me. Always do your research on health grades and word by mouth by asking around when you see people in immobilized slings from rotator cuff surgery and ask them who did their surgery and are happy with their results. A random four people I saw in the community had Dr. Leis and were very happy with the outcome. I recommend Bienville as a top notch provider of care!

X-rays were taken and she (our DR) showed us the break and explained everything. She let us take a copy of the X-rays with her report and advised us to go to ER. No available appts online for the next two days, and unable to check beyond that. So, I get my child into the car and drive over, arriving 7:10-7:15. Are they closed? Looks like a ghost town (see pic). Nah, it's just dark tinting on the windows. Door is unlocked, waiting room is quiet and empty! Lucky us!! A young lady is behind the front desk, and asks how she can help. "We're here for COVID testing." She replied, "We stop doing that every day at 2:00, because ... so many people have COVID." (HWHAAA--?). I said it would've been nice if she'd answered the phone and let me know that before I made the trip, or if they had noted it on their website, to which she replied, "Yeah." Customer service seems to be a foreign concept here. I guess the reimbursement for COVID testing isn't worth their time. My first and hopefully last visit to Maxem. Don't waste your time here- head to AlphaCare - no wonder they were fully booked tonight. Unlike Maxem, AlphaCare seems to want to help people!

Not honest about charges! I have never written a review but I have never been deceived so much at a…read morebusiness! I asked about every charge to expect because the hormone pellets is something I have to do for health reasons. I have to have continued treatment so it is important to know the expenses coming and to shop around. I went in for the free consultation since they couldn't tell me on the phone the charges. After the consultation, they told me I could have in house lab done so my insurance wouldn't be charged and it would be a flat rate for the labs and would be $292. That's no $67great because I had paid $350 in the past for the Biote. I choose to move forward. When I checked out at the desk, they then show me a contract that I would need to make two more payments of $191. That would be a total of $674! I was completely caught off guard but I was told $292! However, I had already done the labs so even if I went somewhere else, I would have to have more labs and be charged again plus I would have to wait even longer. They apologized for not being more upfront about the cost but that it would cover more labs that I would need in 6 weeks and my follow up appointment. I was literally in tears because I medically need the pellets but hated to spend that much money for something on myself. I go back in for my required follow up labs after 6 weeks. A month later I receive a bill for $250! I call and was told I shouldn't have been charged that and they will look into it. I called back multiple times because they never called me but I kept getting bills. I was told they were going to try to get the bill sent to them to take care of it. I told them how important it was for it not to go to collection because I am currently in the hospital with my 10 year old who was diagnosed with leukemia and are expecting a lot of bills. Sure enough, I get a bill from collections because they never took care of it OR called me to tell me they couldn't. When I followed up, I was told they weren't able to pay it but I could just set up a payment plan for the $250 if I couldn't pay it right now. All this to say, beware that a biote pellet will end up costing you about $1000 when you can go somewhere else for $350-$450. I just don't want anybody else to get scammed like I did.
