I've taken the Manhattan GMAT course as well as private tutoring classes. The course was extremely…read morehelpful but what I found particularly great was private tutoring classes with Avi Gutman. He has a unique style of teaching (which is aligned with the Manhattan GMAT course) that focuses NOT on teaching content, but test taking strategy which is critical. With only 4 classes with Avi, I increased my percentile ranking to over 90th percentile in about 4 weeks. During the classes, he is patient, konwledgable and entertaining all at the same time. I highly recommend anyone taking the test to reach out to Avi - and with luck you'll find a slot with him as he's high in demand.

Avi is an amazing instructor - very knowledgeable and patient, and he also made the classes very interesting and interactive. He was able to quickly identify each student's area of weakness and provide valuable suggestions. I consistently scored in the high 600s before the course and was able to improve by 100pts on the actual test. Would strongly recommend MGMAT to anyone who is looking to break the 700 barrier.

J.H My Son needed…read morehelp with his overall writing and reading skills, I called and spoke to a team member at Prepskills, and she explained about this program that they have called PrepEssentials; as the only program of its kind in Canada, PrepEssential is geared toward EQ skills development for children to maximize success with a growth mindset. she told me that the program helps with Leadership skills, Public Speaking, writing and reading, I was a bit skeptical at first like with all these other programs out there, but after the 4th class we started to see our son asking us during the week that he has a very important essay to complete in class, little did we know that he was referencing the weekend class at Prepskills! We are very happy with his progress, and he is sad that the class is ending in May. We wanted to say thank you to Mrs. Wilson for all the hard work she has put into the class. Have a great summer everyone. love B. Family

DO NOT USE THEM. 1)…read moreThe impression we got is that university application tutors have a single drive, to push you to get the most expensive package they offer even if you're almost fully prepared and just want to be extra cautious. 2) The tutors we encountered are university graduates who failed at securing jobs in their majors thus far, so they tutor out of need and not expertise. If you read their CVs, they are not someone successful whose expertise you would seek for something as critical as the future of your child. 3) It ended up being a nerve-wrecking tug of war. We constantly trying to get the service we paid for, and instead we're being constantly pushed to buy higher packages with the excuse that "what we want needs more time". 4) Even a reputable SAT prep book ended up giving a much better support than their "certified SAT teachers".

I haven't done math since high school (7 years), and Sam has helped me understand the fundamentals of math and how they can be applied to GMAT problems. I now feel much more confident in my math skills than I did just a two months ago. Thanks Sam!
