There are some differences between the programs outlined on the website and how the classes are structured (ages in each classroom didn't match when our child was there), as well as some closures on days other than stat holidays. There is little communication between the administration and parents, which is frustrating when changes are taking place (e.g. teachers moving classrooms, upcoming closures), or there are events that parents could participate in (e.g. bake sales).

It is a family run, traditional Montessori school, and so the atmosphere here is unique, and I would even say special. The classes are small so nobody gets lost in the shuffle. There is a strong focus on community, and teaching the children how to navigate the world in an independent and responsible, respectful, conscious way. Sofia is fun, patient but most importantly, has taught our daughter to not be afraid of math - particularly when it gets more complex. Now that our daughter is in Gr 7, we have seen a definitive change in her attitude towards math - she no longer hates or fears math anymore.
