I had hair and make up done here and loved how it turned out. It was truly as though they made everyone's dream come true. From pinterest to reality. I don't think I've had anyone take the time to check in during the process and ask if I needed anything, or if I was loving what was happening. Once I was done, I was told I could change anything I didn't like. My make up was done so beautifully that day I'm in love with the pictures!

After being stuck home from the pandemic, I was SO excited to finally get my hair colored. The girl who took care of me the first visit explained to me that I could not have blonde hair (at least not the blonde I had been getting via bleach) if I wanted to eventually perm my hair. I was okay with that. The samples I was shown were brown and I wanted something different. The owner was called over and we all agreed on a dark blonde/brown combo. The girl doing my hair needed guidance multiple times during my visit. Maybe she was new? I have no idea and wasn't initially bothered by that. I was there for about 3 hours. My hair was done and I said it looked great. While making conversation during that appt. I mentioned that I despised red hair and one salon in my past and made my hair red, but fixed it. I was told bang trims were free and to just call whenever I was in town, or needed to schedule one. That sounded great. I left and went directly home. My daughter opened the door and exclaimed "OMG your hair is red!". I told her it was not. I went in the house and into the downstairs bathroom. It was Orange/Red. I literally started to cry. I contacted the salon via Facebook messenger. I told whomever was speaking on there what ha happened and how my hair looked. She was going to have the manager get back to me.....which she only did via Facebook messenger. So, after multiple times to book an appoinmentment that would work for both of us, I had it "fixed". She salon is beautiful and has hanging chandeliers throughout. The ambieance is very nice-dark and subdued. I left, said "thank you" and again went home. The back and sides were beautiful, but the crown...and several inches down from the crown were still red/orange. I could literally not believe it. After buying the usual purple shampoo to try and tone down the orangeness, I finally contacted the owner for the 3rd time. I just wanted the orange/red to go away. 3 weeks later...it's STILL there. My husband finally said, "the cut is nice, but it's definitely 2 different colors". I was literally afraid to contact the salon for a third time, but I paid a LOT of money to have this done. The first 2 viists I spent a total of 5 hours in the chair. I contacted the owner again via Facebook messenger. She actually implied that the orange must have been my natural hair that had grown out in 3 weeks??? Absolutely not. The new growth is blackish brown, not orange/red. She said there was a time limit of 1 week if you were not happy for any reason...I was never told that, nor is there any info on the website regaring this...I have screenshots. Salon lighting and home or outdoor lighting are totally different. The owner even admitted that. She then invited me to actually pay full price to have it done for the THIRD time!! To make a long story short, she blocked me..mid conversation...on Facebook Messenger. I thought it had to be a mistake. Nope, she blocked me on Facebook as well. WHAT kind of salon does this? What kind of customer service is this? I was and still am, nothing but civil regarding this situation. Also, I mentioned on visit #2, to the owner, that I did not get the complimentary head, neck and shoulder massage that was advertised. I was anxious to get one, as I had not had one since I live in Minneapolis. She quickly stated "that's only if we have time" WHAT?? Once again, their website says nothing about "having time" it only states that it is "complimentary". The reviews for this salon are wonderful, but my experience has been horrific. I want my hair fixed or the money I spent for my so called coloring, refunded. On a side note, I sent pictures of my hair (after both times) to my friend in MN, who has her own salon. She sees the orange/red and says it's not uncommon to have this happen, as salon lighting is always different than your home or outdoor lighting. She always, always fixes it for free. As I said, this experience has been awful for me. Who blocks a customer who has been nothing but nice, despite a hair nightmare??? Not happy and would not recommened to anyone at this point. Would love to find out that the blocking was accidental, but it sure doesn't seem that way.
