Customer service. I walked in to get my hair cut. I was told I had a 10 minute wait. Then after sitting and waiting for 15 minutes 2 other customers walked in without appointments and got ushered in by the 2 operators that were working. Customer service is very lacking in the two women working there today. Did I get my hair cut. Yes! I went across the parking lot to Great Clips and got right in. The ladies at smartstyle could learn from Great Clips about Customer service. read more

stylist Lori gave me a haircut. not blended. washed it fast cool water. only used detangler &brushed wet hair. I told her what I wanted. she cut it never blending the cut not checking to see if it was on both sides. shampoo cut and style only in chair around 30 mins it looked ok until I got home. one side longer than the other. not a blended hair cut. choppy she was more interested in her phone than doing a good job. I'm a retired hairdresser that just decided to get a haircut when I was visiting the area for awhile. very disappointed in the results. glad my hair grows pretty fast. read more

I had great service. My stylist Becca went beyond what I expected trying to tell her what I wanted done as a first time client. She did an amazing job listening to me and taking the time to make sure we were both on the same page. I'm only visiting but I wish I could take Becca with me. Thanks Becca for doing great work. read more

I was pretty nervous about going here, not just because it's inside of a Walmart, but because no one besides my mom has EVER touched my eyebrows. My mom works at a high end professional salon in Springfield, but she canceled on me today and I DESPERATELY needed my eyebrows done. My brows were the worst they've ever been in my life that I can remember. I walked in and a young lady named Jessica did my brows. They looked just as good as when my mom does them and it was super cheap, I believe only $7. If I'm in a pinch I will definitely go here again to have Jessica do my eye brows. read more

I then called the salon and told them the check-in feature wasn't working online and ask them to check me in. I was told they don't do that. I thought she was joking at first but she wasn't. I then drove to the salon. When I walked in, the wait was now 70 minutes! Now that I was in the building, I was checked in. This policy of not checking in people over the phone when the online check-in feature is not working is ridiculous. I sent a message to Great Clips customer service and got a swift reply from AI which was ridiculous in itself. The AI response is why I chose to take the time to type this review.

I asked for a long layered V. My hair was down to my tailbone. The stylist had assistance and they did a great job.
