Found my Hairdresser…read more Virginia. This place is beautiful, easy to park, easy to wait in. All the things that make an independent salon preferable. Then there are the people. Locals walked in throughout my experience. Hellos and catch up stories flew. The best was the hair cut. In lvl my years, I've never experienced a more professional one hour appointment. The stylists are a man down, with the owner out on convalescent leave. Phones were answered, questions from people popping in and some appointments coming in at wrong times. Through it all, I felt cared for and not rushed. Will try the nail services at some point. Fantastic place to support local.

I had an 11 am appointment today with Laura. She has done my hair one other time and she did a…read moregood job. Today I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. At 11 am she was still working on another person's hair. She said she was running late. I said fine, I will wait a few minutes. 20 minutes later she was still working on another person's hair and said she still had to wax her eyebrows. I finally got up and left and told her I was finding a new hairdresser. She should have called beforehand to let me know she was running late but she did not. All I got was a weak apology. I would not recommend this salon to anyone because of this. It was rude and unprofessional on her part.

This salon was suggested to me by a friend. I scheduled an appointment on-line and booked a wash,…read moredeep conditioner, cut and dry with Melissa. The booking process was very easy. I arrived and met with the owner Melissa and she started to work on my hair. I have naturally curly hair and she said the best way to address the way I style it was to do a dry cut. Once she finished and she took her time which was nice I went to the wash station. Chloe washed my hair and then did a deep conditioner. She gave me a scalp massage and it was mesmerizing. I was doing everything possible to not fall asleep. It was so relaxing and Melissa placed a weighted and heated press for my eyes which intensified the relaxation and blocked out any light. I hated for it to end and honestly would have paid more for another ten minutes of heaven. Once I had been rinsed I moved back over to Melissa's station. She put oil and some wonderful cream in my hair to moisturizer my curls. She then used a dryer on my hair that was a diffuser so the curls would stay intake. This was a fantastic experience, the stylists were all friendly and conversational. The salon is modern and clean. It was a great time and I'll be back!!
