I decided…read moreto treat myself and take advantage of the October special and get my eyebrows done first, and lip color and eyeliner next, and was so excited! When I arrived, she explained the procedure and aftercare , including her policy of no refunds on deposits upon cancellation. Taylor also said that if I wasn't pleased with the color or any other reason, she would do a touch up or tweek it. She suggested 2 different shades of brown, and we both agreed on the lighter brown. After the procedure, she told me that she added a little red in with the brown. I didn't think it was a big deal. And after seeing the finished product, I thought everything was great. But toward the end of the first week, I kept noticing that the color was no where near the brown shade, but kept getting lighter and lighter, and looked like my brows had been colored with a reddish brown furniture marker. No joke! I was told that they would get lighter in the healing process. I figured I would address this when I went back. My next appointments for the eye liner/ lip color were scheduled at 10:00 and 12:00 on the 7th day, and I had to call and cancel the lip color appointment, because of a Drs. appointment out of town that had to be rescheduled for 8:00 am that same day. I had to leave a voicemail, and I also sent a text, to let Taylor know that I would be back by 12:00 for the eye liner, and to please call me. I never got a call, so I called at 10:00 when the salon opened to make sure she got my message. She acted as though she never listened to the message or read the text. I explained that I would be back by 12:00 for my other appointment. She proceeded to tell me that she no longer had the 12:00 appointment. I had previously confirmed both the appointments before I knew about my Drs appointment getting rescheduled . So Taylor counted me as a no show! And I realized that I was forfeiting my deposit for the lip color I canceled. I asked when I could reschedule the eye liner, since she supposedly had already filled the 12:00 slot, which I find very hard to believe, since I made the cancellation call and text message around 8:30 am the day before, which was within the 24 hours notice. I asked to reschedule the eye liner appointment, and she informed me that I would have to pay another deposit!!!! You've got to be kidding! I mean, REALLY??? She just kept saying that she couldn't transfer my original deposit for the eye liner procedure because it was "already in the system " and my 12:00 appointment was also considered a no show! This is absolutely ridiculous! My time is just as valuable as hers! What difference did it make on whether the eyeliner appointment was at 10:00 and lip color at 12:00, or vice versa?? Those 2 time slots were scheduled for me, and it did NOT matter which order they were booked! Taylor could have been a little more accommodating and change anything she wanted to " in the system "!! And when I told her that I was not pleased with the reddish color, Taylor denied telling me that she added red to the original brown that I selected. She also told me that my brows were in the healing process and they would get darker as they healed, which is totally contradictory to what she said right after she finished. She also neglected to tell me in the beginning, that it would cost an additional $150 for a touch up! THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY! I have NEVER in my life been treated so rudely at a salon or any other business for that matter, and I would NEVER recommend this person in the future . Definitely not what I consider professional. However, this review has absolutely nothing to do with the other hair stylist and manicurist who work there! So..... I have botched up brows and might as well have thrown money in the garbage. Live and learn. Rant over.
