First of all damn, what a disappointment I made my 16 year old daughter her appointment at the…read moresalon as I normally do before school starts back to get foil highlights, cut and styled I took her to PURPLE PINKIE the stylist was Jennifer Burleson. I showed her the hair style she wanted she said that she couldn't do the layers she wanted so I showed her the picture of the hairstyle she done the year before and she said she could do it no problem so I paid and left tip then went back to work but guess what that was a big mistake!! I would have never tipped her except learn how to schedule better!! Her next appointment was at 1:30. You can't do full foil highlights cut and style in that time frame on long hair but because she was rushing to get to another client my daughter was put under a drier trying to speed up the process which resulted in damage. The entire experience turned out horrible her hair doesn't have hardly any layers nothing like the picture I showed then she didn't even style her hair because she was rushing to get to the other client. Don't get me started the color it is brassy her hair feels like hay, then Jennifer tried to blame the damage that she did to my daughter's hair on her daily routine. I paid $161 for my daughter to come home crying with her hair damaged and fried. I took her to another salon today and they recommended olaplex treatments weekly to help reverse damage done this is ridiculous ‍ so I reached out to her today to let her know how dissatisfied and disappointed we was with the quality of her work, I saved messages will show if needed but basically said I should listen to her concerns verses believing what my daughter told me REALLY you calling my kid a liar or is she faking being upset? Then it was stated that the pictures I sent her of my daughters hair outside in the sun was tampered with that I must of added something to her hair that isn't the color that she left with thats BULLSHIT I have pictures with time stamps she came straight home and took pictures. We will never return or recommend JENNIFER BULESON or the PURPLE PINKIE again.. I never wanted a refund or wanted her to try and fix the terrible job it was a lesson learned I was just letting her know how dissatisfied we were with the experience

If you haven't visited this quaint little gem then you're missing out! I am so lucky to have…read moreLindsay as my hair stylist because she perfects my desires and needs each visit. I make special trips from Washington, D.C. just for her. She always goes above and beyond and she is the sweetest. I enjoy every visit because not only is Lindsay great, but the rest of the staff treats you like their client; always happy and friendly. I also recommend a spray tan if you've got 10 minutes to spare. I was in and out of the booth in a short amount of time with the most beautiful golden tan that was carefully sprayed on by the operator. The prices are absolutely reasonable and the final product could certainly run you triple the price in Charlotte and surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

I went to Misty as a referral from really good friend. Misty has been doing hair for over twenty years. She knows what she's doing. She truly cares about her clients. That was evident during my short time there in the chair. She's fast, friendly and fun to chat with. I walked in showing her what I wanted and she gave me just that.....from a picture. The salon is beautifully decorated with state -of-the-art equipment. It's conveniently located and easy to find. Also, it's nestled in a quaint southern NC town full of charm. So while you're there try one of the local eateries! You cannot lose out! One other note....I went here as a referral. She's had clients, including myself, who drive more than am hour for a taste of this expertise. Keep up the good work here sisters. What a fabulous salon you two run!!!
