As much as i first enjoyed this school in Elementary, it's a disappointment, especially how the admin take forever to act on things, and my senior year classes are completely different to what i had planned, if you want to send your kid here, or if you want to come here yourself, save yourself the trouble. Kailee greeted us, led us to her office, and began her sales pitch: teacher-student ratios, art shows, the "extras" they offer. Not once did she mention teacher names, qualifications, or experience--things any parent would want to know. When I asked about staff education or degrees, she had no clear answer. "I think one might have a master's degree," she said vaguely. When I asked about handling challenging behaviors or redirection policies, again, no clear answer. For someone running a school, that was alarming. The tour itself? Fine. Saw a dirty fishtank. Typical corporate franchise feel. Nothing special. She handed me paperwork, explained the enrollment steps, and told me all I needed to do was register if I wanted the spot. So Thursday, I did exactly that. I got the doctor's forms, submitted everything, and checked off her entire list. Then Friday morning, I receive an automated message saying I'm on a waiting list. Confused, I email Kailee for clarification. That's when she replies: "Hi Charlotte, It was such a pleasure meeting your family & sweet CHILD. I loved watching her excitement for the learning space. We'd love to have her join our school community! Unfortunately I was mistaken about the Tuesday/Thursday space when you toured- I have a space in the Older 2s class, but CHILD is just a bit too young for this age group & would go into the young 2s instead. The Mon/Wed space filled right before you registered by a family that toured earlier in the week & completed their registration just before yours. I'm so sorry that the space is no longer available as it was when you toured." No apology for the bait-and-switch. No professional courtesy to call me when she knew the spot was gone--just excuses in an email I had to initiate. So not only did it take her days to "realize" my daughter's actual age--even though I gave her birthday in the very first email--but I'm also supposed to believe someone conveniently toured and registered before me? Here's the truth: If you want transparency, if you care about teacher qualifications, behavior policies, or basic honesty, look elsewhere. The GOOD news: Fort Mill has plenty of ABC Quality Rated schools, where teacher qualifications, safety standards, and curriculum quality are regularly evaluated. This school is not one of them. Save yourself the time, stress, and disappointment. The director avoids accountability, doesn't answer calls, and communication here is minimal at best. TL;DR: This place will sell you frills, avoid your real questions, and then pull the rug out from under you. Warmly, Someone who actually wants a safe, quality environment for their child--not just a place to drop them off without standards or oversight. :)

He was very quiet and to himself. We were on a waitlist for Oakcrest, then a friend of ours recommended Ivybrook and their half day program. We took our son on the tour and fell in love. His eyes brighten and he was so happy. The registration was seemless. Kailee was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Our son is much more talkative, less shy, and plays very well with other children. His first day of school, he asked me to turn around and take him back. The staff is super attentive to him. If there were any issues or concerns in the classroom, they were handled immediately with care. He's learned so much here at Ivybrook, the only thing we regret is not taking him here sooner. We've noticed how much our son has grown, how well he speaks, how much he enjoys school and we love every bit of it.

I had to do everything virtually and was so flustered (7 months pregnant, moving out of state, 2.5 year old toddler, etc. etc.) that even Miss Brittany stopped me a few times to inform me of some important points I forgot to even ask about. Miss Erica is also phenomenal. I was so nervous to enroll my toddler into a new daycare because the one in Ohio was phenomenal and we had such a great experience. Cadence has been even better. My babies are happy and well taken care of, and I get to see a weekly schedule regarding what the toddler learns. There has been no turnover since we enrolled *knocks on wood-no one leave, please!* And it sounds as though the teachers and administrators are taken care of better here than some other places-this is important! We love Cadence. My only complaint is the app. It's meh, but I know teachers and administrators share the same complaints and they've exploring others.

My son has been coming here since he was a toddler and he's 5 now, I wish I brought my son here as an infant. The infant teachers are amazing. I love babies and I always go and speak to the infant one teacher and talk to all the babies. This teacher is a really great caregiver to these babies, she has so much knowledge that is very helpful to me when it comes to teaching young children. The management is great as well, they care about my son and every single one of the children at this school.

You always get greeted at the door as you come in, all of the teachers acknowledge the kids even if they are in a different class. The teachers are in good moods all day, the kids are always busy, and the tricycle rally was so fun for my little ones. The facility is clean, tucked back, not next to apartments which always weirds me out a bit. Wish they offered meals and wish there was a covered drop off area where you can get the kids out when it is raining. The staff is well lead, the director is kind and honest, the owners love the school, it's a great, non-elitist, comfortable place to teach your kids.

We're a one-kid household, so all of this is new to us with new routines, new expectations, new worries. The one thing we were sure about was that early education really matters, and Woods has delivered on that and then some. From school leadership to the teachers in the classroom, we've consistently felt our son is in great hands. A special shout-out to Mrs. Basma, the lead teacher in Classroom Five. She's been incredible. The growth we've seen in our son during his time with her says a lot about her as both a teacher and a person. The changes we see at home are where it really hits. Our son now pours his own milk, drinks from a glass, and loves doing "big kid" tasks. He's more independent and confident, and he's suddenly into things like trying to read, matching games, and even simple chores and watering the plants is a favorite. That feels very much like the Montessori influence coming through. As soon as he turned two, he started potty training, which is something we did not expect to go as smoothly as it has, and the school has been a huge part of that. On top of that, there are spirit weeks, events outside of school that help families and teachers connect, and playdates that have come out of the community there. None of that was on our original checklist when we were looking for daycare, but it's ended up being a big plus. Most importantly, Woods is more than just daycare. It feels like a real learning environment that actually follows Montessori, not just uses the name. If you're considering early childhood options, I'd strongly recommend taking a look at Woods Montessori. At this age, getting a good start matters, and they've given our son exactly that.
