I told her places I really wanted to see and said I was flexible on dates as well as itinerary. She asked my name, address, phone number, email, budget etc. and spend about 15 minutes on the phone with me. The. She tells me - get this - "In order for me to put something together for you we charge $150 per person ($300 for myself and husband) I was upset over this for several reasons. 1st: this should have been told up front, not after getting all of my personal information. 2nd : I know my friends did not pay any fees. Then to top it off I have inboxed several of the other Yelpers who left 5 star reviews and guess what? Not a single person had to pay any fees upfront. I asked to speak with manager and she said they do Charge a fee to plan a trip! My friends who suggested this place was appalled when I told them what happened! They did go about 5 years ago and their agent they dealt with was no longer there but what a way to turn off clients.

Despite booking a $38,000.00 USD trip for two people, we received minimal assistance and had to research and plan most details ourselves. The agent consistently invited us to ask questions but provided generic responses without actual answers when we did so. We handled everything from changing seat selections, planning what to do during multiple lengthy layovers, to resort, wedding, car rental, check in/out and other inquiries on our own. He failed to secure early check-in/late check-out without just simply suggesting an expensive extra night (keep in mind extra nights at this resort are $2500+/night -- a bit steep for a few hours later check out). We were left to arrange our own car rental in Bora Bora and the post car rental boat transportation from Papeete to the St. Regis Resort since we were not going there directly from the airport to the resort since our room wouldn't be ready but rather after several hours of exploring Bora Bora via rental car to not just have dead time. We chose a travel agent for a stress-free experience, particularly with this trip being our wedding and honeymoon but ended up still doing most of the research, planning and handling of logistics. It was also obvious he was not familiar with the region of the world we visited. The only positive was rebooking a cancelled flight on the return portion of our trip, though at our additional expense of course. For a specialty travel agency, the service for our two-person trip fell far short of expectations, especially given the high cost of this trip.

What we received instead was disorganization, poor communication, lack of knowledge, and passive-aggressive behavior when legitimate concerns were raised. For someone claiming to be a professional travel planner, the lack of preparation and follow-through was shocking. Most unacceptable was the total absence of support during the trip itself. There was not a single check-in before, during, or after the vacation to ensure that plans were working or that we were satisfied--especially troubling given the size of our group and the significance of the occasion. This experience caused unnecessary stress and detracted from what should have been a meaningful family celebration. I would not recommend this travel agent to anyone, particularly for complex trips or special events where professionalism, responsiveness, and organization matter

The agency charges a $50 booking fee per ticket, she said. In addition they won't spend much time providing information or offering routes. A single quote for one route option is "free." Additional information costs $50, although she was unable to explain what the fee would cover exactly, except to say they would not spend 1.5 hours on it. She was not very helpful or friendly. I had been ready to drive there initially, but after speaking with her I wouldn't want to interact with them.
