The showroom is not impressive. It offers the various mattress types made in twin sizes for customers to try out. The staff was always very knowledgeable and helpful, though. What makes Wholesale Mattress and Factory different is that they really do manufacture the mattresses they sell here in Baton Rouge. They will make the mattress with the firmness you want, with or without memory foam and with or without a pillow top. They are even able to make mattresses that are different on each side of the bed. If one partner wants a firmer mattress than the other, MW & F can make a mattress that suits them both. Here's the kind of customer service they offer: we'd had a four-poster bed made. When they came out to deliver our new mattress and box springs, the new mattress sat much too high on the bed. MW & F took the box springs (which is really only a fabric covered box) back, made us a much thinner box springs to fit our bed perfectly and delivered it at no extra charge! Maybe the best thing about MW & F is the prices. We were able to buy two high quality, custom made mattress and box springs sets for less than any of the mattress stores wanted to charge for one! There are no secrets about how to make a great mattress. MW & F can make mattresses just as good or better than the name brands and sell them for much less. My wife and I will never go anywhere else.

She took us to the Beautyrest Black medium and we laid on it and the heavens opened up as we both were cradled by a cloud. June 4, 2026 While the sales person logged in the sale of our mattress, she offered the usual sale…read moreitems, which I declined. She offered a discount on the bed frame first, which I accepted. I didn't want the mattress protector for $300 and I didn't want the "free sheets". She mumbled something about not getting a perfect record and then insisted on throwing in the "free sheets". After some numbers gymnastics and another customer interrupting the process, we were told she would finish up and email the finance docs for us to sign. The invoice shows up with full price charged for the frame but I got the free sheets! The day of delivery, June 10th, we were given a window that they blew past twice. I had my bed stripped down and ready, but they tried to reschedule us. We insisted so they showed up after 10pm but the platform boards were missing from the bed frame. They had to leave the OLD FILTHY BOX SPRING under my brand new mattress which requires a leap up and jump down! We were promised they would follow up soon. They scheduled the delivery for June 19th, and when that day arrived and we called to confirm, there was NO RECORD of scheduled delivery and the boards were NOT in stock! Rescheduled to July 15th so here we are waiting for a phone call that they said we would receive this morning. Well, there we have it, just got "the" call. Now they will deliver the boards on Friday! So NO!!!!! Not a great experience!
