Toward the end of the strip of retail shops on Dodecanese Blvd. (next to the spice shop) Katie (I hope that I have her name right), has a fashion forward and conscious place to get clothing items and accessories that you'd be hard pressed to get anywhere else. When speaking to the owner I was informed that she only buys a few of each article of clothing so once the stock is exhausted, that's all there is available. I was told new shipments come in weekly which is pretty awesome. Her shop features some local handmade accessories and various pieces of wall art. I enjoyed talking to the shop owner and a salesperson when I was there and they were helpful without being pushy. I did not feel pressured to buy anything which makes for an enjoyable shopping experience. I found the clothing to be reasonably priced and I bought several pieces for my upcoming vacation. I hope to visit again and see the great pieces that Katie carries a limited inventory of. This is her first store and something she's passionate about and enjoys and I love that. Check out this boutique if you are fashion conscious (and even if not) and enjoy wearing clothing that is not sold in many stores. I really don't have patience for shopping but this store made it easy for me. Thank you for the great experience, Shell Shop, and for outfitting me for clothes for my trip!!! Shop local!!!

Housewares America is the parent company of Debbie Meyer and her products. She is also VP of the…read morecompany. They use many websites such as www.cakecutter.com and www.debbiemeyer.com and www.housewares.org Debbie Meyer has been promoting a line of products, primarily "green bags" which are supposedly going to extend the life of your food products. When my wife asked me to purchase the green bags I told her it was a scam but she persisted. To give Debbie Meyer Green Bags every opportunity to succeed I followed their directions as listed. But I do scientific experiements to prove my point. I purchased bananas (as the instructions stated) and I put half into the Green Bags and I left the other half of the bunch out on the counter. The bananas in the Green Bags turned brown and spotted in less than 2 days while the bananas left out on the counter remained fine for 4 to 5 days, thus proving that Debbie Meyer Green Bags don't work. I tried the same with grapes and vegetables and in EVERY instance the fruits and vegetables turned bad quicker in the Debbie Meyer Green Bags than just leaving them out. When I contacted the company, instead of listening to my feedback and making an attempt to figure out why this happened, I was contacted by Debbie Meyer's husband who threatened to bring a lawsuit against me for defaming his wife's good name and the name of the product. All I could do was tell him if he wanted to bring a lawsuit against me for telling the truth of the results I had using their product then I would welcome it. I also told him that it would be quite amusing to place bananas and grapes into the Debbie Meyer Green Bags in the court during the trial, and leaving the remaining bananas and grapes out on the counter and allow the Jury to see the ones in the Green Bags rotting twice as fast. At that point he refused to talk to me any longer...he claimed I was an idiot and didn't follow the instructions on the bags...so here I am on Yelp letting the world know that these products do NOT work as promoted and, if anything, cause your food to spoil days sooner. Thanks for reading. And, if anyone reading this doesn't believe me, please go to your nearest store and purchase a package of Debbie Meyer Green Bags and do the same experiement I did with grapes and bananas and come back here and report your findings.

I bought a 4 for $20 deal and it made great gifts back home! Stay Cheerful ;)
