BE AWARE: My Experience With Adam, Included Abusive Messages and Unresolved Damage…read more We hired Adam from this company about a year ago to install our furnace at our home in the North Bruce Peninsula, and I have had ongoing issues with the furnace ever since. Recently, I went to contact a different furnace technician, not realizing the number I called belonged to Adam. As soon as he recognized who I was, he replied with extremely rude and abusive messages, including calling me the C-word and insulting my husband. I have full screenshots documenting the entire exchange. He is also now claiming that I took two months to pay him. This is not accurate. I paid exactly the amount he originally quoted me, in full, and I have proof of payment. There was absolutely no reason for him to speak to me in the manner that he did. In addition, there is still unresolved damage to my floor from the original installation that was never repaired, despite multiple follow-up attempts on my part. As locals, we support our tradespeople and small businesses, but we also expect professionalism, integrity, and basic respect. This behaviour does not reflect our community or the way people here treat one another. This review reflects my documented experience over the past year. Between the ongoing furnace issues, the unresolved flooring damage, and the abusive communication, I cannot recommend this company.

I was getting the insulation in my attic looked at for my first winter in this 1980s townhouse. I…read morehad contacted another company and they recommended I have the current insulation (cellulose) removed and all new special fibreglass (but no glass?) blown in. They wanted$6K. For $2 K they would top up with this special insulation. I said no thanks and called Grey Bruce coatings and insulation who came and told me my cellulose insulation was fine. It had settled a bit but by adding more I might bring it up to new home standards but it really wouldn't be noticeable in comfort or in reducing my gas bill. I felt they were being honest unlike the smooth sales pitch I was getting from the first company.

With so many contractors out there, it can be very overwhelming when trying to find an honest and reliable one. Well, that was exactly what we found in Ryan. He was very professional yet down to earth. He listened to what we wanted; a new ramp for my husbands scooter, a fenced in yard for our small dog, and updated front porch and stairs. Ryan was punctual, honest and willing to work with both our budget and our demanding timeline. Over the winter Ryan will be updating a bathroom for us, when spring breaks, Ryan will be back finishing our backyard makeover. If you are looking for someone with integrity, professional and is honest, give Ryan a call! You won't be disappointed.

Once he did a thorough investigation we were shown the current condition of both attics. We determined now was the time to upgrade our insulation due to the Ontario "green on" rebate AM Insulation is participating. We decided to go forward with the project. Their crew arrived on time on the date we determined. They worked efficiently and completed the work and also cleaned up after. We were happy with our decision and look forward to seeing the savings now that we have a new blanket over us.
