Nice view from the third-floor of the marsh!

Well-priced for Easter weekend and clean. The front desk attendant was efficient and kind. I'd stay here again!

Cleanliness is lacking. Carpet was wet. No maid service the whole stay. NO SOAP during a pandemic!!!!!! We had to take our own trash out!

Terrible! Cleanliness is lacking. No maid service and NO SOAP during a pandemic!! Wet carpet, musty! The sink had mold all over it. We stayed 3 nights and never had our trash emptied or new towels. Never again! My worst hotel stay ever hands down!!

A Nice two nights! The hall ways were clean, staff real friendly, breakfast was good and the location was right on the middle of town.

View from back of hotel. Clean overall. Comfortable.

Filthy, bed bugs, and roaches. Do not stay here! It's sad because we came here for the Marine graduation and had no other options.

Multiple uniquely situated seating areas with umbrellas and other options for shade. A lot of thought went into all the clever details that make up for the lack of outdoor space. I'm not complaining! It's pet friendly and other than the dishes of fresh water outside you'd never know. The room is beautiful! Perfect use of space. Nicely appointed & very comfortable. The bathroom is magnificent and very clean!! Lots of towels! The hotel is quiet despite its proximity to the road. This is not a place for young children. Infant yes but toddler no. Which suits me just fine! There's nothing worse than children running up and down outside or above- there's none of that here! The customer service is fantastic. There are 2 bottles of wine in the room! A red on the desk and a white in the refrigerator! I don't know how much they are but I don't care! It's a perfect touch! There are plenty of glasses and complementary bottles of water in the refrigerator! The attached coffee shop is also adorable, very well appointed and comfortable. Honestly, I don't know why things have changed here. They had a good thing going, but this stay…read morewas not as good as our last one which was 8 months ago. The Inn was full our whole stay, which is good for them, of course. The owners were too much in your face, when all we wanted was quiet time away from chaos at home. The social hour was just OK and for around 16 guests, the appetizers were very minimal (crackers and hummus). They did away with the evening sweets, although you still get a chocolate at turn down service. This was our 4th stay here and yet they were not aware we had stayed before. Breakfast was yogurt every morning, you better love that for 4 mornings, along with a main dish which was cold, every morning. I am not a fan of cold eggs and cold plastic looking cheese on top of everything. Options would have helped, like no cheese. They asked if all was OK, but I am not going to be put on the spot in front of a room full of people who are ooogling over everything they are offered. I would have loved a piece of toast instead of yogurt offered, but they didn't give you that option. Disappointed and will not stay here again. By the way, since they renovated the rates have climbed up. Some paint, change of decor in areas, a wet bar, and a fence were the changes made. Our room was the hideaway. Winding staircase and then a short steep stair case to the room. The bathroom is nice with a large walk in shower, seems like the water is at the end of the line to this room as everyday was low pressure and hard to get hot water. We were able to take showers later in the evening after dinner times. Tried to one morning around 6:30 to 7am, but after letting the water run for 20 minutes it was still cold and dripping out of the shower head. We inquired about it and was told the road works are to blame, later we asked a guest if they had problems with the water and they had no issues. Location is awesome! Owners are nice, staff are nice and shoot you a smile, but we will stay elsewhere, because we can't take out a loan just to stay here as well as all the issues we've mentioned.

Misty, our server, brought us our complimentary sparkling wine that tasted delicious and our fried oysters appetizers were so good. The ambience at the restaurant was so nice with soft music that serenade our dinner. Misty told us that we can go upstairs to their hotel rooftop to enjoy our sunset with our beverages while she keeping our food and table situated for us. We has two quiches to choose from, bacon, boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit, pastries and bread, coffee, tea, juices, cereal, 2% milk and almond milk, and some other things. It's very close to the downtown area, we walked at night to grab dinner. Just know it is very dark at night, which may make navigating the downtown area difficult for those visually impaired or need physical accommodations. The check in staff was lovely, and helped up get our dog checked in for $35 a night. The rooms are spacious, renovated, but I noticed some areas that a renovation can't hide- alas, this is a best western. Very lovely place to stay when you're in the area, very well priced, close to downtown and the river walk. From one hotel snob to another, this was definitely doable! Free parking on the property is also convenient. Our room was on the second floor, which required a bit of walking and stairs, which we did not mind. The complimentary breakfast is by far one of the best breakfasts included with a stay. Through our research, we finally settled on 607 Bay Inn and I'm glad we did. We were graciously welcomed upon arrival and given a lay of the land which included two communal kitchens, the veranda and balcony, and our room. Our room was situated on the second floor at the back of the house. Each room has its own private bath. We also received vouchers to be used for breakfast at our choice of a couple of different eateries downtown. 607 Bay is easily within walking distance of shopping and restaurants as well as the waterfront. The inn has delightful waterfront views itself. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony as well as our evening nightcap. It wasn't until a few years ago that I realized I had an appreciation for architecture, especially that of the previous century or two. This inn has that charm in spades. Though the essentials are updated as you can see from the pictures, the old wooden floors have a creak to them and the doors to the front of the house have notes on how to open them with ease. It's a charm that, to me, is priceless. Everything at the inn was well appointed. We had zero issues during our stay. If we're ever back in the area, staying here again would be an easy yes for us. I would recommend it for you as well.

Almost all of rooms are just modified duplexes/apartment buildings with shared entryways and balconies. We booked one room for almost $500 a night for a romantic evening and they tried to put us in a cheaper room thinking we would not notice. It was damp, moldy and I found a bug in the room. Once I complained that it did not match our reservation, they suddenly told us about an alleged A/C issue and tried to put us in a "better room". The furniture was damaged and the shower was moldy in that room and in NO way was this comparable to the reservation we made a month prior. Park passes, breakfast and bicycle rentals are "complimentary" but yet they charge you $18 a day resort fee to have access. I do not recommend staying here at all.

Traditional inn in a pretty pink house with rooms decorated with old fashioned wardrobes and…read moreflowery wallpaper. Bed rather soft and bouncy which is always an issue with older lodgings. The place can use some updating and they seem to be doing that - part of the house is under construction looking like a new deck in the works and at night also work being done to the lobby. The room we booked is a "courtyard queen studio" which has the following description on the website - "Our Courtyard Queen Studio guest rooms are ideal for business or solo travelers. These rooms feature queen beds and stand-up showers. The upper-floor studios have private verandas that overlook the semi-private Lower Courtyard, and the ground studios have lovely front patios and gardens adjacent". However our room doesn't seem to match much of the description other than it has one queen bed, as the bathroom has a small tub, and we are on the second floor but no veranda (maybe second floor is not "upper floor"?). Anyway also not sure why they are called "studios" since it's just one standard room. Anyway other than that our overall stay is comfortable enough - the ceiling fan is a good feature. Breakfast is a bit of an issue however. The inn doesn't provide breakfast so you are given a voucher to have breakfast at one of two nearby cafes. Each voucher basically only subsidizes your breakfast by $7 or $10 respectively which is not enough to include coffee or tea and depending on what food you order will not cover the full amount of that either. That came as a surprise and is not what I'd expected when breakfast is supposed to be included. I don't mind going somewhere else for breakfast but the voucher should cover a set menu that includes at the very least breakfast food and beverages.

During my longer stay, several issues started to add up and made the experience disappointing. Pros: +The gym is nice and well-equipped. +The beds are reasonably comfortable. +The location is convenient, with several restaurants and cafés nearby. +The elevators worked reliably during my stay. Cons: -As a member of Hilton, they gave no water. -There is no free or complimentary breakfast. -The shower water never gets truly hot, it only gets warm. -The sink also did not provide hot water, which made shaving difficult. -When I arrived, the shower was not clean and still had someone else's hair in it, which I had to clean myself. -The toilet was not clean upon arrival and doesn't flush properly unless you hold the handle down. -Housekeeping was very inconsistent. During my stay of more than four days, the room was only "cleaned" once, and even then they only made the bed. Items like toilet paper and other supplies were not replenished; I was left with a nearly empty roll and had to get another myself. -The complimentary shower soap dispenser was empty and never refilled. It's a small thing, but it's the principle since it's supposed to be provided. -The mini-fridge never got cold, only slightly cool. -The TV only had very basic channels. -The walls are very thin. I could clearly hear conversations in the next room, including a couple being intimate. I'm sure they could hear my TV as well when I turned it up to drown out the noise. -The pool was locked during my stay, even on a 90-degree day, and it didn't appear to be well maintained. Overall: For a very short stay, the hotel may be acceptable due to its location and decent gym. But for longer stays, the cleanliness issues, inconsistent housekeeping, lack of hot water, and noise from thin walls made the experience frustrating. I don't recommend this hotel.
